When i walked the peaceful village streets
Looking for nothing in particular
Between the houses
Where you could look upon the fields
Upon the mountains
I saw you shine
And though i knew you weren't shining for me
Your inescapable rays
Enveloping the quiet beauty
The road i stood on
So brightly there was noone else
And i knew
And i hoped to understand
In another life
What you had told me
Devouring yellow sky
Drowning my life silently
