He looked to the chatty group ahead. The crocodile stood in the center, loudly cackling at the chameleon. Rouge was off bugging the echidna near the other end of the gathering. The fox sat at a table as the Quokka from earlier raced up to him. The cat was off with Amy as the two happily rambled on about something. The Conductor and his wife had already gone home a little while ago, saying they needed to get some packing done.
In the back, sat the cake that Sonic had bought not long ago, most of it, already eaten. Then a new thought came to mind: Where is Sonic?
