Chapter 1: Caught (NRT BS #1)

Chapter Text

“You’re okay?”

Isaac’s eyes flicker to your own, gazing down at you with a tilt of his head, his arms wrapped securely around your waist. You lay your head comfortably in the crook of his shoulder, tilting your head back slightly to meet his gaze as you fiddle with his left hand, holding it gently in your own hands.

The two of you are laying on your bed, something that, with the recent light of Isaac staying with you now that Derek kicked him out, you find yourself doing a lot with Isaac. He did have his own room, as Melissa had so kindly and graciously gave him, but after particularly hard days, or if you were being honest, really any day, Isaac would wait until everyone else had gone to sleep and sneak into your room just to cuddle… and maybe more.

It was one of the few moments the two of you got to spend together that wasn’t revolved around the supernatural. Sure, sometimes your conversations drifted in that general direction, but you felt yourself at ease as you laid on Isaac’s chest, cuddled up in his arms.

“Yeah,” Isaac nods, his voice soft, letting his cheek fall against your forehead. “You?”

“Yeah,” you nod, mimicking Isaac’s words with a small smile. “I just thought… after everything with the twin’s and then Derek…–”

“I’m good,” Isaac assures, moving his hand so it’s laying on your waist, gripping and pulling gently. Understanding his meaning, you shift so you’re sat on top of him instead of beside him. Isaac settles his hands on your hips, holding you steady as you grin cheekily down at him. With a soft smile of his own, Isaac leans forward, pushing himself up on his elbows and cupping your left cheek. “Especially now that i’m with you.”

Feeling your cheeks warm slightly, you roll your eyes; “how sweet.”

“I’m serious!”

Mischief fading slightly and being replaced with sincerity, you nod down at Isaac, leaning down to press a chaste kiss against his lips. “I know,” you whisper against his lips, hands pressed against his chest. “You know,” you continue, pulling back just slightly and lowering your gaze to Isaac’s lips. “You moving in might of been the best thing that could’ve happened.”

Isaac grip tightens slightly, his warm breath fawning over your face. “And why’s that?”

“Because now,” you whisper, leaning forward once again. There’s barely any space between your lips and Isaac’s, and you find yourself smirking when you see the need in his eyes, pulling at your desperately. “I get to see you all the time.” The moment you finish speaking, you press your lips against his once again, this time more needingly.

Your hands slide up from his chest, along his neck before running through his curly hair as Isaac pulls you closer against himself. You curl your body into his own, tilting your head to the right slightly as your lips part, allowing Isaac to slip his tongue inside. Your eyes fall shut with ease, Isaac mimicking your movements as you both kiss each other with the same amount of want and need.

His finger ghost over your skin, causing shivers to run through you as you grip his hair tightly, moaning softly into the kiss.

“Hey, Y/N–”

Neither of you notice or pay any attention to the sound of your door opening. In fact, despite Isaac’s enhanced hearing, the two of you are completely oblivious to the fact. That is, at least, until you hear a loud gasp and your brother’s voice screech; “oh my God! Y/N!”

You pull away from Isaac in surprise, crawling off of his lap and onto your feet next to your bed as you turn to Scott with wide eyes. Isaac sits up, but remains on your bed, your eyes meeting briefly before focusing back on Scott once more who is still silently freaking out.

“Scott,” you call, smiling nervously. “Have you ever heard of knocking?”

“Knocking!” He exclaims, shaking his head. “What are you even doing here Isaac! You have your own room!”

Isaac’s lips just remain parted, sputtering uselessly and at a loss.

“Shh,” you hiss, narrowing your eyes at Scott. “You’ll wake up mom!”

“I should wake her up!” Scott argues, albeit, he does lower his voice. “Isaac, you shouldn’t be in here. We let you stay here and you’re making out with my sister?”

“We are dating, Scott,” you deadpan with a shake of your head. “We were dating long before Isaac ever moved in.”

“I’m going have to wash my eyes out with soap now just to get that image out of my head.”

Rolling your eyes, you take a step forward, ushering Scott out of your room. He argues, but his words fall on deaf ears as you simply just push him out of your room by the shoulders, moving to shut the door. “Good night, Scott.”

With that, you shut the door behind you, turning to Isaac with a sigh.

“I guess I don’t have to sneak in anymore?”

Laughing lightly, you shake your head, making your way back over to Isaac. “Guess not.”
