He could imagine it so clearly - the flash of the Soldier’s body moving, faster than a human could track. The glint of his arm in the darkness of the room, revealed only by the city-lights that bled through the windows before his fingers would wrap around Zemo’s throat and keep him still as he plunged his knife into him and pierced all his vital organs in one swift sweep, leaving him gutted and gasping for his final breath before he’d even have the chance to think about fighting back.
The arousal he feels for the thought would have been shameful, if Zemo only had any shame left in him to feel.
“How would you do it?” Zemo finds himself asking, suddenly lost in his own fantasy. “How would you kill me, should you find a reason to do so?”
