"This is stupid" Tim groaned, leaning back so his head hit the pillows (Y/N) had set up behind him.
"No, it's not." she moved away to grab the blue pink Sharpie from where it had rolled off the bed. She tried to ignore his moaning when she shifted but eventually apologized. "Sorry, but I needed the pink."
"No, you didn't" he crossed his arms, trying to look stern.
(Y/N) finally looked up to meet her husband's eyes. "Yes I did! You can't draw hearts without make some pink, Tim. Jeez."
"You're drawing hearts?" he asked incredulously. If he could, he would lean further back into the pillows, but (Y/N) had stacked them far to high for that. If it was anyone else, he would be annoyed by the constant attention, but for her he could make an exception. What he couldn't let slide though was having love hearts drawn all over him. Fucking love hearts.
(Y/N), knowing exactly how to get her way, put on her best puppy-dog eyes and asked. "What's wrong with hearts?"
"Nothing..." he relented slightly, "It's just I don't like them on me!"
(Y/N) smiled softly, "That's the price you pay for breaking your leg, I get to draw hearts on the cast. Serves you right, if you ask me."
"Thats the thing," he huffed again, although this time it was more of fondness than annoyance, "I didn't ask you."
(Y/N) just winked in return, preparing for Tim's reaction to her reaching for the glitter pens.
