Robin flops down onto the couch next to Steve, a huge bowl of popcorn in hand. She scooches in close to Steve, bouncing a little as they wait for the show to come on.
“I’m so excited!” She grabs Steve’s shoulder and shakes him.
Steve rolls his eyes. “There’s no way you’re right.”
Robin gasps. “Of course I’m right! He’s been in love with her forever!”
Steve shrugs. “It doesn’t matter. She won’t do that to him. She’s going to chicken out.”
Robin shushes him as the opening of the show comes on the screen, recapping last week’s episode. The theme song plays out and Robin sings along loudly, nudging Steve at the right time to do the little ‘ clap-clap-clap-clap’ with her and settling against him as the episode finally starts, shoving a handful of popcorn in her mouth.

Steve lets out a menacing laugh, pointing at the screen. “I told you! She chickened out! You owe me dinner!”
Robin shakes her head, pulling Steve’s arms down. “No! It’s not over yet!” She elbows him in the ribs and shushes him. “We’re missing it!”
They sit and watch, on the edge of their seats as the wedding plays out on screen, Robin ignoring the smug look Steve keeps sending her as they get closer and closer to the end of the episode but it’s not over yet and–
‘I Ross, take thee Rachel.’
Robin and Steve both gasp, and Robin grabs Steve’s arm, mouth hanging open in shock.
Steve shakes his head. “NO! NO WAY!”
Robin shakes his arm, bouncing up and down on the couch. “AHHH!! I TOLD YOU! HE LOVES HER!”
They watch as the scene settles on Rachel’s shocked face before the credits come up on the screen, and they gasp again, freezing.
Robin shrieks. “ THAT’S IT?”
Steve shrugs. “Have to wait for next season.”
Robin groans and flops herself back into the couch. “You still owe me dinner.”
