Right, so now let me explain what I meant in case you don’t understand the prompts. I will also include whether this is an open or closed prompt, meaning whether I’m looking for something specific, or you can do whatever you want with it. (This is going to be longer than the actual thing 😬)
Could be a retelling of why this person would never have guessed Jesus would come into their life (open)
I feel like this one is pretty clear. What “it” is is your choice (open)
This prompt is for whatever character to praise Jesus for their salvation. That’s kind of what I meant (closed)
This character still feels God through all the difficulties they have gone through (open)
This could be because they’ve done something unforgivable, and they don’t feel like Jesus should love them anymore, but He does. This one is more your choice though (open)
Something about God’s love (very open)
God has blessed this character (open)
God gives someone joy, possibly (very open)
This person has likely strayed away from God, but God didn’t give up and kept trying to get them back (open)
A character knows the truth but is too proud to receive salvation. At the end they do (closed)
A character finally learns the truth, and wonders why they didn’t realize sooner, as an example (open)
Do whatever you want with Mark 16:15 (very open)
This character is strengthened by God (open)
Should entail the day when this character comes to Christ and is saved (closed)
Any praise for God (very open)
Someone sees God’s plan played out in their life, for example, or simply acknowledges God’s plan. Whatever you want to do with the prompt (open)
Someone is lifted up out of the darkness (open)
Whatever you want this to mean, but probably something about a person attempting to be God’s light, as an example (very open)
I feel like this one is pretty self explanatory (open)
Something acknowledging the marvel of God’s creation (open)
No matter what life throws at this person, they get back off the ground, only cause Jesus (open)
However you want to picture this. Could be somebody dying, could be someone expecting to die, or could be a person first entering heaven if you’d like to explore that. Most likely would be emotional I’m guessing (open)
Any thanks for God (very open)
The day before Christmas, go into depth of what Christmas means, and the reason God sent his son, in any form you choose. (open)
Probably would be a retelling of the story, but this prompt is not closed. Use your imagination! (open)
Anything you choose (of course around the guidelines for Jesuscember) (very open)
Someone is determined to get back up after Satan has knocked them down, as an example (open)
Could be the final battle of Armageddon prophesied in Scripture, or could simply be the battle in your ordinary day life. Most likely one or the other, but it is not limited to those (open)
Your interpretation of the day Jesus arrives to set up his thousand year reign on earth (open)
Someone works to win souls before it’s too late (closed)
However you’d like to end Jesuscember, but it does have to be around the lines of God making something new, the same way he makes the years new (pretty open)
I hope this all makes sense to you. Most of these prompts are open, I think only four of them are closed, but please don’t limit yourself to stories either. Using these prompts, you could also make poems or songs or whatever, however you are inspired to do. Probably some of these are definite stories, but not all of them.
Of course, it is your choice if you want to do any of these and how you do it is also your choice. I just ask that you stick to the guidelines and honor the ones that are closed, because I really only had one picture for those.
Once again, tell me if you plan on doing this. I would love to hear your thoughts on this and hope to learn of new siblings in Christ out there who would love to join me in this.
Please no hate comments. Thank you! 🙏🏻
God bless you all! ❤️❤️❤️
Update: I now have the first two prompts written and prepared! There was no way I was going to be able to write one a day with how specific I as an author need to be and how busy my life will probably be by December. It is so much easier for me, as an author, to prepare them ahead of time and wait to post them on their day. Besides, I can’t wait anyway! ❤️❤️❤️ But rest assured, I will have all thirty-one written and ready to post December. (fingers crossed 🤞🏻 … but mostly hands folded in prayer 🙏🏻 )
