Grian and Scar had been baking cookies. (Grian mainly staying away from the burning hot items. Like ovens..) Grian had been molding the dough into a flat surface for the cookies looking over at Scar who was just staring at Grian. Giving a soft smile towards the parrot. Grian quickly returned the smile before focusing back onto the cookies. Though he did hear Scar scuffling his feet across the floor. “Scar, do you not know how to walk quietly?” Grian asked with a humorous tone chucking slightly at his own joke. Turning his head towards Scar, who was starting to respond “I do-! It's just I have no reason to.” Grian stared at Scar, an amused look on his face. “Mhm- Totally. Your footsteps can be heard across the server.” Grian chuckled looking back at the dough that was finished being molded into the correct shape. “Also could you please put the cookies in the oven?” Grian asked Scar who responded with “Yeah sure!” Scar had respected that Grian didn’t like touching or going near the hot objects because of being a bird he could get burned or colder easier. Scar had grabbed the tray of cookies slowly inserting it into the oven. Now they would have to wait a couple of minutes for the cookies to be baked. Of course, if Grian had done everything correctly. (which was quite rare if you think about it. Grian wasn’t the best cook and usually missed a step in baking something.) While waiting Grian had for some reason sat on the counter. His wings relaxed on his back. Not as tense as they were before. “Scar? Can you come over here real quick?” Grian asked. A stupid idea in his head as Scar was walking over towards the parrot hybrid. Grian smiled before leaning towards Scar and kissing him on the lips. They stayed like that for a couple seconds before Grian leaned away still laughing at the startled, embarrassed, and very much flustered Scar. Grian heard the beep of the oven poking Scar to alert him. Though Scar had already heard the beep and had gone to go get the cookies out of the oven. Grian shuffled off the counter stabilizing himself on the floor and walked over to where the cookies were that had now been placed on the counter. Grian reached out for one before his hand was moved away. Scar looked over at him. “Grian those were literally just in the oven. They are steaming hot.” Scar stated. “I know but- they look amazing.” Grian muttered but not arguing with Scar since he had pointed out the obvious. The cookies would probably burn the both of them if they did just have a small poke at them. Grian wrapped his arms and wings around Scar. Scar had responded in a soft laughter before hugging Grian back. “Can we stay like this until the cookies cool down?” Scar nodded at the offer.
