    Etho was laying back on his bed, his palms flat against his stomach, staring up at the ceiling. Doing nothing, except breathing and thinking.

    He didn't know what it was to start his day off like this, it was very random. He didn't like that it was random.

    He slowly lifted his hand up his abdomen, over his diaphragm, hissing in a breath when his hand reached the bottom of his chest.

    He shoved his hand back, almost has if he had been burned, to his side. He gave a heavy sigh and squeezed his eyes shut.

    It had been a long time since Jax had a nightmare in this place that wrecked him like this. Figures that the thing- well, person- to trigger it would be the circus’s new jester. She got too close to him, and now it felt as if she were haunting him. Pushing her away was supposed to fix it, but it only made him think about her more. She was like a plague to his psyche.

    Once he managed to steady his breathing, he got up and paced anxiously back and forth next to his bed. He knew it had only been a nightmare, a really bad one at that, but he couldn’t shake the anxiety he felt. A persistent, nagging voice in the back of his head was insisting that something was wrong. What if the nightmare was some bizarre sign that she was really suffering in her room, abstracting alone while he paced and the others slept? Or she had already abstracted, and it was too late?

    Jax has a nightmare where Pomni abstracts, and goes to check on her to prove to himself she's fine.
