Summary:

Hua Cheng took a seat on the other end of the divan, far from the other two. "Good," He glanced and made eye contact with the Wind Master and tilted his head, "Where's His Highness?"

Shi Qingxuan hadn't thought this far and stayed silent for a moment before responding, "He went to deal with some stuff."

Seeming to not like this answer, Hua Cheng questioned further, his tone was dark and unkind, "What stuff?"

The Wind Master blinked, glancing around, "Stuff for the Heavens."

"And who's this?"

Without even a look, everyone could tell that Hua Cheng spoke of Xie Lian, who stood silent as a mouse next to the divan.

Shi Qingxuan luckily spoke for her, "A dancer friend I met, Ming-Xiong said it'd be alright for her to come up here."

Work Text:

Two cultivators stood beside each other, staring at the doors of a large, golden coated, building. The sign atop the building read letters implying it had been a store of many items. Which unfortunately, had caught the eye of a certain cultivator.

Shi Qingxuan clapped his hands together and walked up to the doors, "Come on, Lian Lian! Who knows what jewels we might find!"

With a sigh, Xie Lian nodded and followed Shi Qingxuan into the store.

Immediately, they both froze in the entrance, gaping as they looked around at the workers, mannequins, clothing, and practically everything else.

Everything in the store had been rather beautiful, however, the clothes and items that had been laid out, all had something in common. Clothes meant for special occasions.

With a swallow, Xie Lian tried to pull Shi Qingxuan out of the store, but he relented.

"Your Highness," He started, staring around before pulling out a sack of what seemed to be coins. "Look at these! I've seen several dancers in my lifetime, but their clothing could never compare to the quality of these."

Xie Lian sighed and reached out to feel the fabric, surprising enough, the fabric was of high quality and reminded Xie Lian of his old prince robes.

Shi Qingxuan chuckled and nodded, picking up two sets of white-golden clothing along with headpieces. "Come! Let's try them on!"

Without a though Xie Lian quickly shook his head, "Qingxuan! We can't," He glanced around and shrugged, "At-least I can't, these are the clothes that women dancers wear."

Tilting his head to the side, Shi Qingxuan responded, "Then let's use our female forms!" With a glance at Xie Lian's unsure expression, he added, "Just for fun!"

Xie Lian sighed and thought for a moment, if it was just for fun.. it wouldn't hurt anyone.

He finally nodded and followed Shi Qingxuan over to the dressing rooms.

Xie Lian suddenly regretted this as he saw the light from Shi Qingxuan's transformation over the stall. He silently shifted in-front of the mirror and pushed out almost all the spiritual power he had.

Luckily, the transformation was quick and didn't leave much time for Xie Lian to change his mind.

Opening her eyes, she silently gaped at the reflection she saw in the mirror. She quickly took notice of the difference in height between this and her real form.

Her cultivator robes slid down her shoulders and she sighed, realizing she forgot to incorporate robes into the transformation.

She pulled off her belt and slid off the robes, reaching for the outfit that Shi Qingxuan had picked out.

Once she had slid the clothes on, she placed the head jewels atop of her hair, sliding a hairpin through her high ponytail. She noticed that while in this form, the ends of her hair curled up.

She turned back infront of the mirror and only then, she realized how revealing and suggestive the clothing had been. Almost her entire stomach had been out, golden strings of jewels had dripped down over arms and waist. As for her legs, Fortunately there had been white pants below a sheer white skirt.

Atop of the skirt, lied more golden jewels and lining. She slid the sheer arm fabric around his elbows, allowing it to flow along as she moved her arms.

Just as she had finished admiring the look, a loud voice came from outside of the stall.

"Lian Lian! Are you almost done?"

Xie Lian quickly opened the door and walked out, ignoring how low on spiritual power she had been.

They both stood silent, but for different reasons. Xie Lian would've been more surprised to see the Wind Master in such a look, but she had already seen such things plenty of times.

As for the Wind Master, she gaped, "Your Highness! Oh my, you look so," She paused as she spun Xie Lian around to see the entire look. "So good! Why do you not use this form more often? I mean.. you're face and skin is just perfect."

Xie Lian laughed and nervously brought up a hand to her face. "Ah, there's never really been a reason for me to use it. You look very nice as well."

With a giggle, Shi Qingxuan spun around and reached for her temple. "We should show Ming-Xiong and your Crimson Rain!"

Xie Lian quickly reached forward and held Shi Qingxuan's in between her own, suddenly realizing even in this form she had been shorter than the Wind Master. "Pardon??"

Shi Qingxuan tilted her head to the side and questioned, "Well, we're already in Ghost City, and correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that the two are already together. And, Your Highness looks too good just for your beloved to not see."

Quickly shaking her head, "Qingxuan! I can't!" What would San Lang think?! "You said this was just for fun!"

"Well," Shi Qingxuan started, she laughed and gently pulled away her hands. "Wouldn't it be fun to put on an act in-front of the two?"

For the Wind Master, this was normal, she had always been comfortable in other forms, especially being in front of others in those forms. He Xuan had already seen her in that form, so she had no reason to be nervous.

While Xie Lian, had never worn this form in-front of anyone, and she didn't plan for today to be the first. "Qingxuan, I adore your ideas, but this just isn't for me."

Shi Qingxuan groaned and shrugged. "Well, that's alright then. However, again, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Your Highness low on spiritual power at the moment?"

Xie Lian gaped and stared at Shi Qingxuan silently.

"That's what I thought," Shi Qingxuan spun around into Xie Lian's dressing room and grabbed the robe she had took off, folding it and placing it in Xie Lian's arms. "So, unless you wish to stay in this form and go back to the Paradise Manor with no explanation, please come with me, Your Highness."

Xie Lian rubbed her hands on her face and sighed, "Qingxuan! This is blackmail!"

Shi Qingxuan shook her head and smiled, "Of course it isn't! I've given you a choice, you just chose the easier one."

With a groan, Xie Lian relented and followed Shi Qingxuan out of the dressing room, headed for the cashier before being pulled back to the side. "I've already paid, don't worry, Your Highness!"

Nodding, Xie Lian thanked the Wind Master and made a mental note to pay her back. "Qingxuan? Where are we headed?"

Walking back onto the streets of Ghost City, Shi Qingxuan placed two fingers along her temple once more, "To the casino, of course! I believe He Xuan is there at the moment— oh! Here, take one of these."

Xie Lian tilted her head to the side as she took a candy that Shi Qingxuan had placed in her hand. She recognized this anywhere, it was practically radiating ghost qi.

It wasn't that Xie Lian didn't need more ghost qi, she had been practically filled with it due to Hua Cheng. Rather, she needed a disguise. For this, she thanked the Wind Master, even if Hua Cheng were to recognize Xie Lian, he would have a hard time at doing so.

Once they reached the Casino, Xie Lian was sure that this would be the last time she had relented and followed one of Shi Qingxuan's ideas.

The Wind Master giggled as ghosts on the streets shouted comments and compliments at her, while Xie Lian kept her head low and hid her face.

Shi Qingxuan took a quick notice to this and pulled out a sheer piece of cloth. "Your Highness, stop for a moment."

Xie Lian paused in her step and stayed still as Shi Qingxuan reached around her hand, clasping the cloth across the bottom half of her face. For this, it was harder to see Xie Lian's nose, lips, and anything else in the bottom half of her face. "Ah, thank you, Qingxuan."

With a thumbs up and a nod, they walked into the casino, both gaping as it had been filled with ghosts and ghost qi to the brim. "I forgot, there's an event today, of course there's so many ghosts here."

Shi Qingxuan shrugged and glanced around before setting eyes on a particular group of ghosts. "Look! There's other dancers over there! If we're by them, we'll blend in."

They quickly walked through the crowd and made way to where the group of ghosts had been standing. Xie Lian tilted her head and stared at the Wind Master, "Qingxuan, did you change the color of your clothes?"

Shi Qingxuan nodded towards the rest of the group, "They're all wearing black and golden robes, it'd be better to blend in."

Xie Lian sighed and attempted for a moment to change the color of her own outfit, however, with such low spiritual power she didn't want to risk losing it to such an unimportant detail.

Shi Qingxuan chuckled and rested her arm atop Xie Lian's shoulder. "Don't worry, Your Highness, we want the Crimson Rain's eyes on you."

With this, Xie Lian became even more nervous and ran her fingers through her ponytail.

She opened her mouth to mention something but was quickly interrupted by a loud bang and shouting.

The entire group went silent and glanced over to where a Ghost had stood at the end of a gambling table. The Ghost was draped in black and golden robes paired with expensive looking jewels.

Xie Lian and Shi Qingxuan shook their heads before realizing the group of ghost dancers had started making way towards the Ghost. The two gasped and quickly followed behind.

As the ghost quieted down and accepted his loss, the rest of the ghosts in the casino went back to their own activities.

When the group made it over to the ghost, two of the girls leaned onto the edge of the gambling table, while the others surrounded the ghost, positioning themselves leisurely around him.

Form up close, Xie Lian was able to tell that the Ghost had many human futures, opposite to many of the other ghosts in the city. Just then, he realized that he wasn't a ghost at all, it was Pei Ming?

Xie Lian turned to the Wind Master to see if she had noticed, and in a blink, the Wind Master had a sheer black piece of cloth covering her own face.

The leader of the group, who sat on the edge of the table, leaned closer to Pei Ming and tilted her head. "My Lord, you seen stressed, please, allow these humble dancers to free you of your stress."

Pei Ming remained stone faced as he looked around the group, until his eyes landed atop Shi Qingxuan and Xie Lian. In this moment, Xie Lian was prepared to make an excuse as to why she was in such a form. However, Pei Ming only smirked and glanced back to the leader, "Why is that one in a different color?"

The group of ghosts turned around and landed their eyes atop of Xie Lian, who suddenly regretted not asking the Wind Master for spiritual power to change her clothing.

With that, the leader chuckled and placed a hand atop of Pei Ming's shoulder. "Ah, never mind that, she is one of our most treasured dancers, and the color will no longer matter if the clothes only end up on the floor, no?"

Xie Lian gaped underneath the piece of cloth and sighed.

Pei Ming nodded his head and picked up the coins that he had laid out across the table before turning back to the group, and just as he turned back, a large figure appeared behind two dancers who stood out from the rest.

Xie Lian and Shi Qingxuan turned around as a hand was placed atop the Wind Masters shoulder and both started to breathe freely again after realizing it was Black Water. However, in most cases it should've been the opposite.

He Xuan leaned down and whispered something into the Wind Master's ear, and considering the change in her expression, Xie Lian decided she didn't need to know what was said.

After the interaction, the group of dancers leaned closer to Black Water and grinned at each other.

Black Water was fortunately first to speak up and made eye contact with Pei Ming. "How nice to see one of Heaven's in this little casino. I assume you're enjoying your stay?"

Pei Ming rolled his eyes and was about to counter his comment before Black Water spoke again. "Hua Chengzhu requests this groups presence at the Paradise Manor tonight. Don't be late."

The group of dancers and clapped together their hands and nodded. They had completely forgotten about Pei Ming and all went off, presumably to get ready and empty their pockets for gold.

Black Water pulled Shi Qingxuan away and nodded for Xie Lian to follow. They made it to the main center of the casino, behind the red curtain that no one dared to even touch.

After entering through the curtain, Xie Lian found that the room was empty, Hua Cheng was no where to be seen.

Black Water took a seat on the divan, pulling Shi Qingxuan to sit beside him. "So, you don't want Crimson Rain to see you?"

Xie Lian nervously nodded and pulled out a carefully constructed golden-white fan that had come with her accessories.

With a nod, He Xuan continued, "The disguise is good, he's dealing with some ghosts at the moment so he probably won't notice. Just stay quiet."

Shi Qingxuan leaned into the couch, not waiting a moment to make herself comfortable.

He Xuan pulled her legs atop of his own and rubbed one of his hands up and down her thighs as the other rested atop of the divan.

With immediate notice of spiritual energy that she had come to recognize right away, Xie Lian stood a few feet beside the divan and fanned at her own face.

Within a minute, Hua Cheng walked through the curtains, groaning and stopping once he had seen the display in-front of him. Obviously he noticed the 'ghost' dancer beside the divan but he paid no mind at the moment. "Did you figure out the problem?"

He Xuan nodded, "All taken care of, he took his money and left."

Hua Cheng glanced at He Xuan, who sighed and squeezed the Wing Master's leg. "I pulled them away from a group, figured you'd want to see the dancers before tonight."

"I could care less for these dancers," Hua Cheng placed two fingers along his temple.

Shi Qingxuan glanced back at Xie Lian and as she suspected, Xie Lian's face shifted as Hua Cheng had gone silent.

Hua Cheng was trying to communicate through the communication array. However, this was a problem, Xie Lian wouldn't be able to contact him without making the common gesture, and if Hua Cheng saw her, she would be caught.

"Gege?"

"This lowly believer misses his beloved."

Xie Lian swallowed and continued fanning at her own face, desperately trying to ignore Hua Cheng's voice which rang throughout her head.

Hua Cheng's energy in the room subtly shifted and he took a deep breath, one he didn't need, as he removed his fingers. "Where is His Highness?"

Shi Qingxuan squeezed closer to He Xuan at Hua Cheng's tone and coughed. "He'll be back soon! I assure you, Crimson Rain."

Hua Cheng stood and motioned for the others to do the same. "Let's head to the Paradise Manor early, I want to get the festival activities over as quickly as I can."

The two nodded and Shi Qingxuan gestured for Xie Lian to follow as they all walked out.

Xie Lian unconsciously shifted herself beside Hua Cheng, as she always did when they walked together. However, this time was different, Hua Cheng completely ignored her presence and acted as if she was just a dog following at her legs.

The height different between them didn't help much either, normally, Xie Lian was shorter, but now, she had been much shorter.

Shi Qingxuan quickly noticed Xie Lian beside Hua Cheng and took a step back to swiftly place herself along side her.

She placed an arm around Xie Lian's shoulder and slightly pulled her to the side, "Xie Lian," She whispered, "Be careful, if you get too close, your Crimson Rain might get upset."

The two Ghost Kings watched as Shi Qingxuan whispered into Xie Lian's ear and Once they reached the doors, Hua Cheng spoke up. "Is something the matter?"

The two quickly shook their heads and Shi removed her arm from around Xie Lian. "Not at all!"

Hua Cheng glared at the two and threw two dice into the air, allowing everyone into the array after.

After walking through the door, the two ghost kings took their seats atop of the divan in the center of the hall. As Xie Lian trailed behind, the Wing Master pulled her to the side and reminded her of the group of ghost dancers. They would be arriving soon and the two needed to practice.

Hua Cheng intently watched as Shi Qingxuan and the Ghost Dancer disappeared from the main hall, and he quietly released a butterfly to follow them.

He Xuan stared straight at the doors, attempting to ignore Hua Cheng's glare.

"I'm sure you're aware, but I don't like being lied to."

With a swallow, Black Water turned to face Hua Cheng and titled his head. "What do you mean?"

Hua Cheng's energy shifted once more and seemed to be overtaking the entire hall, "You're aware of exactly what I mean. You know that she is lying, so, where is His Highness?"

Seemingly to be less of a question and more of a demand, He Xuan relented and thought through a few choices he had. "He's in Ghost City," Technically not a lie.

"And? Why isn't he here?"

He Xuan shrugged, "Qingxuan didn't say much, only that he was nervous." Shit.

Hua Cheng quickly sat up right, "Nervous? About what?"

"I'm.. unaware. I was told it's nothing bad, however," Black Water stared at Hua Cheng, who seemed he could kill at that moment.

The Ghost King shifted back into the divan, waving at one of the parlor maids to start the events. "Find out more."

He Xuan nodded and pressed two fingers to his temple.

Shi Qingxuan was freaking out. With trying to find the group of ghost dancers, and being bombarded with questions of Xie Lian's 'disappearance,' she didn't now what to do.

As for Xie Lian, she had been struggling to keep the Wind Master calm. "Qingxuan! Please, calm down! We'll figure this out!"

Shi Qingxuan nodded and took a deep breath. "How about this, this is causing me too much stress, so how about I give you some spiritual energy and you can shift back into your normal form."

Xie Lian clapped her hands together and nodded, "Yes!"

Shi Qingxuan grabbed Xie Lian's hands, and sure enough transmitted spiritual energy through Xie Lian's arms.

After she had been given enough, the two released each other and Xie Lian pushed the spiritual energy through to transform back.

However, when the smoke disappeared and she was still in her female form, the two began to freak out. "Why am I not back to normal??"

Shi Qingxuan placed two hands on her head, "I don't know! Did you do it right?!"

Xie Lian began to walk back and forth, her breaths becoming shallow. "Yes! Exactly how I did back at the shop!"

While the two had been freaking out, Shi Qingxuan just barely noticed a glow floating towards them. "Your Highness! Watch out!"

Xie Lian turned around and was met face to face with the glowing butterfly. She quickly shushed the Wind Master and enclosed her hands around the butterfly. Within a second, she released her hands as fast as she had closed them.

"Your High— Um.." Shi Qingxuan began to call out, but knowing that Hua Cheng had access to all the butterflies, she stopped herself.

Xie Lian gaped as blood dripped down her hands and down her wrists, the butterfly cut her!

Shi Qingxuan ran over to Xie Lian and quickly grabbed her hands, "Ah, let me help!"

Shaking her head, Xie Lian quickly pulled her hands away, if Shi Qingxuan used too much spiritual energy on her, she wouldn't be able to cover it up. "No, no, it's okay! I'll go wash it off. I'll be fine!"

The Wind Master sighed and followed Xie Lian to a sink, helping her clean off the blood and pressed a towel to the wounds.

The cuts weren't that bad, but they had caused Xie Lian's arms to be dripped in blood. She had never been harmed by the butterflies, even upon first meeting.

Shi Qingxuan quickly called He Xuan, asking him to find bandages.

Unsurprisingly, He Xuan appeared in the doorway of the room, holding a pile of bandages.

The Wind Master wasted no time clinging onto Black Water and pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Thank you, Ming-Xiong!"

Shaking his head and reaching down to cup Shi Qingxuan's waist, he glanced over to where Xie Lian had started wrapping the bandages over her hands, "What happened?"

Explaining how the butterfly had cut Xie Lian, they all stared into the corner, where they had captured the butterfly beneath a cup. Although it couldn't see anymore, there was a chance it could still hear, so they made sure to be quiet and not mention Xie Lian's name.

After bandaging her hands, she now had bandages over her cursed shackles, and hands.

"Thank you for the bandages," Xie Lian thanked Black Water, and peeked out into the main hall where several sellers and traders had been repeating their offers to Hua Cheng.

He Xuan spoke up, "I believe that your group is presenting to him soon."

Shi Qingxuan and Xie Lian nodded, glancing over to a door that led back to the front of the Paradise Manor.

They followed the path until they were met with the group once more.

The group of ghost dancers sighed for a moment after realizing they were back, but after remembering the interaction between Shi Qingxuan and Black Water, they all welcomed them into their group and prepared them for the performance.

Inside the Paradise Manor, Hua Cheng sat unamused upon his divan, staring with un-interest at all the previous groups that had come in.

He spoken to He Xuan a few times once he had gone back, but besides declining and accepting some offers from traders, he barely spoke.

Finally, it had come time for the ghost dancers to perform.

They had quietly entered the hall in a circle like formation, with Xie Lian in the middle.

The leader of the group directed a bow to Hua Cheng and quickly spoke, "My Lord, Hua Chengzhu, it is with great honor that we are able to perform tonight under the name of Ghost City!"

Hua Cheng scanned his eyes over the group, waving a hand for her to continue on.

The ghosts packed together in their formation, and in an instant Xie Lian had been flowing out to the front, as the rest of the dancers floated out to the sides.

She floated her arms around as the dancers once again came around her and did the same. She glanced at Shi Qingxuan who, underneath her mask, had an unmistakeable grin.

The two drifted towards each other and slowly spun around each other. Xie Lian had always been flexible, but she found that in her female form, she had practically been able to bend however she'd like.

She slowly brought her leg up to her head as the other dancers did simple tricks.

For a quick moment, Xie Lian glanced up and made immediate eye contact with Hua Cheng. He had a look upon his face, one that ran chills up Xie Lian's spine.

It was in that moment, that Xie Lian realized the bandages on her neck had slipped loose, and her cursed shackle was now on display.

She mentally cursed and while following through the steps of the dance, attempted to fix the bandages. Luckily, Shi Qingxuan took quick notice and shifted behind Xie Lian, reaching her arms around her neck and rewrapping the bandages, and as if to make it seem as part of the dance, she hovered her hands over Xie Lian's body in sensual motions.

Xie Lian didn't know whether to laugh or cry as Shi Qingxuan gave her a cheeky grin and a quiet chuckle after they had resumed to the normal dance.

With another glance at Hua Cheng, Xie Lian noticed the glare from Hua Cheng's eyes, once more, the look sent chills down her spine.

As the dance finished, Hua Cheng's eyes remained strictly on Xie Lian, she felt almost glued to his eyes.

At the end, all the dancers came around Xie Lian once more and covered her inside of the circle.

Shi Qingxuan spun around and smiled sharply, winking at Xie Lian. Just as she registered the expression the Wind Master had been making before the dancers all bowed to Hua Cheng and made way to exit the hall.

With another glance, smoke appeared all around Xie Lian and the Wind Master.

With a sigh, the Wind Master spoke, "Ah, that's a shame. I really enjoy being in that form."

Xie Lian waved away the smoke and stared at the Wind Master, realizing he had now been in his original form. Glancing down, Xie Lian realized he was in his original form too, just in the same clothes as before.

He smiled and sighed out of the relief of finally being in the form he was used to. At least until he felt a hand rest on his waist and breath on his neck.

"Gege," The voice behind him was deep and sent a warm feeling throughout Xie Lian's entire body.

He glanced around the hall before responding, and seeing that the Wind Master and Black Water had already left, and the ghost dancers were the last presenting group that night, Xie Lian and Hua Cheng were the only ones left in the quiet hall. "Ah, San Lang."

Hua Cheng squeezed his arms around Xie Lian's waists and planted a kiss atop the base of his neck. "Why didn't gege tell this one that he was trying out a new form? I would have been more than happy to company him."

Xie Lian nervously chuckled and sighed, "It was Qingxuan's idea, we were visiting a shop and trying it out for fun.. but I happened to run out of spiritual power."

The Ghost King laughed and trailed his fingers up and down Xie Lian's exposed torso. "Your Highness.. You could have asked this one to borrow power, I certainly don't mind."

With a shudder, Xie Lian spun around in Hua Cheng's arms, reaching up to wrap his arms around Hua Cheng's neck. "But my outfit! I didn't know what San Lang would think.." He sighed into Hua Cheng's chest and groaned.

Hua Cheng continued to run this hands over the parts of Xie Lian he could reach. "Gege, this believer would never think any less of you. As I see it, gege is breathtaking no matter the form he takes."

Xie Lian pulled himself out of Hua Cheng's chest, smiling nervously up at the Ghost King. "Ah, well thank you, San Lang."

Nodding, Hua Cheng smiled down at Xie Lian. Pulling away, he took a step back and stared over every part of Xie Lian, although he had already known him head to toe.

Under his gaze, Xie Lian suddenly got nervous and took a few steps back, covering his face. "I know, I know. The outfit is silly."

Hua Cheng stayed silent for a moment before shaking his head and making his way towards Xie Lian. "Of course it isn't, gege looks stunning, as he always does."

The two stared at each-other before Hua Cheng reached for Xie Lian's legs, picking him up and holding him within his arms.

"San Lang!!" Xie Lian laughed in his arms, clinging onto the maple red robes. "Where are we going?"

Hua Cheng placed a gentle kiss atop Xie Lian's head and walked throughout the halls of the Paradise Manor. "You'll see."

The two remained in a comfortable silence, with the edge of a tension between them as the made way through the halls. Eventually, they made it to their own personal chambers, and Hua Cheng laid Xie Lian across the bed.

He stood at the edge of the bed, admiring Xie Lian. The way his hair flowed over his shoulders and how is back arched underneath Hua Cheng's fingers.

Xie Lian's breath became shallow as Hua Cheng's hands began to explore every inch of him. "San Lang.."

Hua Cheng glanced up and tilted his head, "Your Highness."

Smiling, Xie Lian lifted himself to rest on his elbows, so he was closer to Hua Cheng. "When do you know it was me?"

Hua Cheng chuckled and gently reached for Xie Lian's neck, lightly pulling off the bandage that had fallen during the performance. "When I saw this," He paused for a moment, his expression unreadable as he stared at the cursed shackle. "I also noticed something was strange when you and the Wind Master ran off, and then my butterfly suddenly went blind."

With that, Hua Cheng reached down to grab Xie Lian's hands, gently laying him back down on the bed as he unwrapped the bandages covering his hands.

He sighed and quietly cursed as he stared at the cuts the butterfly had made. Resting a glowing hand over it, he quickly healed Xie Lian. "I apologize that this happened to gege."

Xie Lian shook his head, "Ah, don't be sorry, San Lang. It was really my fault, it didn't recognize me."

Hua Cheng leaned down, kissing Xie Lian's palm, his wrist, and up to the base of his neck, leaving a few lingering kisses at the base.

Pulling his head up, Xie Lian pulled Hua Cheng into a gentle kiss.

At first, it had started off slow, but by the end of it, they had been desperately grabbing at each other, licking into each others mouths.

Pulling back for a moment to admire Xie Lian once more, Hua Cheng pushed him further onto the bed. "Dianxia doesn't know what he does to this one."

Tilting his head and reaching a hand into Hua Cheng's hair, Xie Lian arched up into his touch. "What do you mean?"

Hua Cheng groaned at the sight and slipped his arms underneath Xie Lian's back. "I believe gege knows exactly what I mean."

With that, Xie Lian tightened the insides of his thighs around Hua Cheng and flipped them over, pulling Hua Cheng onto the bed and landing on top of him. Now straddling the Ghost King, Xie Lian brushed a hand through his hair. "I'm afraid I don't know what San Lang is referring to."

Hua Cheng sat up, holding onto Xie Lian's waist as he straddled him. "Then I suppose Dianxia will just have to see, won't he?"

Xie Lian nervously grinned, tilting his head down to meet Hua Cheng's, connecting their lips after only a second.

The kiss was gentle yet deep and sent warmth throughout Xie Lian's entire body. As Hua Cheng gripped onto his waist, he slowly grinded his body forward and against Hua Cheng.

The Ghost King sighed into the kiss, deepening it and squeezing Xie Lian's sides harder.

At that sign, Xie Lian slowly increased his pace, pulling away from the kiss and leaning down into Hua Cheng's neck, placing several kisses and gentle bites.

Hua Cheng's breaths shallowed as Xie Lian drowned him in kisses. With every tease from Xie Lian, Hua Cheng whined, "Gege.. you're going to be the death of me."

Of course, the Ghost King had always known that the humble God would be the death of him.
