Summary:

In which the parents are busy so Uncle Macau and Uncle Ohm are on babysitting duty.

It does give Macau some ideas...

Notes:

No particular notes for this one either but I wanted to point out this slight fact since I'm already 'following' the lives of the kids, so you guys can know where all the adults are age-wise (based on these four anyway :D):

Ohm, Macau and Chay are near their mid-20's, let's say about 24. Kim is about 27-28, give or take.

With that out of the way, enjoy some fluff!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Macau just went to get them lunch, what with most of the bodyguards out to guard the couples on their dates, only a few remaining to guard the remainder of the Theerapanyakun family.

So why on *earth* did he come back to the compound's huge living room looking like it went through a confetti storm sprinkled with some unicorns and rainbows?

"P'Ohm?"

His boyfriend seemingly flinched at the tone of his voice while shooting him a cheerful grin, attempting to walk through the mess on the floor towards him, somewhat expertly dodging the two terrors known as Kinn and Porsche's twins, Romeo and Remia, who just happened to be in their terrible threes right now.

He was never more thankful that Venice (and now Dara) were a bit older, the two near six-year-olds curled up on a nearby couch that somehow survived whatever happened, quietly communicating as they drew something, which warmed Macau's heart. The little girl had only been with them for a few weeks now and already had the best care money could buy but it was obvious that, whatever her past was, it left scars even that couldn't heal, to the point where Dara seemed to be almost selectively mute... of course, their doctors promised it was highly likely to be only temporary, but they were still worried nonetheless, she was one of them now, regardless of how she joined the family.

"I can explain..."

"Right?" Macau arched an eyebrow, feeling safe enough for the kids to leave his field of vision ever so briefly, what with the bodyguards in the room now trying to calm the twins down a bit and the place generally being baby proofed as ordered by his cousin Kinn years ago. "Did an elephant or something show up, throw up and then somehow leave? This is even more colorful now than those cartoons the kids like to watch! P'Ohm, please..."

"I know, I know." the older man sighed, brushing some confetti out of his hair. "I had it under control, I swear. I guess Im not built to keep up with everyone... yet."

"Well, you should be." the younger man pouted, crossing his arms over his chest. "However will we adopt if you can't? Surely you don't expect for our future child or children to not be Theerapanyakuns through and through?"

"I mean, ye-... hold on, future kids!?"

With a chuckle, Macau walked around his now stunned boyfriend, cheerfully calling out to the older kids to see if they needed help with something. And it wasn't like he was lying anyway, they've been together for a few years now, there may or may not be a proposal and another wedding on the horizon, and surely... it was something they had to discuss. But Macau himself wanted kids, to raise them better than his own so-called 'father' ever raised him and his Hia. This babysitting just proved his gut feeling to him. Truly, the overwhelming love he felt for his family as of these past few years since his father and uncle passed away (both for good), was hard to explain. Even to much as ten years ago, the Macau of then would have scoffed at ever having this sort of life, this sort of future. He knows his 'father' would have. Not that it mattered, he - much like everyone else - was looking ahead to the future, not the past.

He truly had to find another way to thank Chay for introducing him to Ohm.

And maybe ask his best friend what he thought about the two couples adopting or doing surrogacy around the same time, the idea of having same aged kids growing up together sounded appealing to him. But for now, there was a new game to buy so they could play it later.

In the more immediate future, it was trying to avoid the little barrels that were the twins, Macau's gleeful laughter echoing through the manor. It made the bodyguards who were with the family for years smile.

For now, there was peace in the family and that was all that mattered.

Notes:

Thank you for reading, as always!

Not too sure what the next one will be - while I do have some ideas, Im not sure if you guys would like me to focus more on the couples or the kids or both (at least for these first few fics) - so if anyone has any ideas they'd like to see, feel free to let me know.

Assuming I get no feedback, the next one will likely be Venice and Dara's 6th birthdays (I made them kinda close together, like a week, so while they do celebrate together they also get to do what they want) and then after that, probably more MacauOhm. Or maybe KhunBig, I know everyone loves those dorks as much as I do ^^ No new kids (yet)!

Likewise, whatever mentioned in this one and any future fics may or may not be realistic, this is fanfiction first and foremost. Still, if I get something terribly wrong, feel free to tell me so I can fix it :D (and keep it in mind for those future fics)
