Chapter Text

There was a loud bang outside of Granny's and loud arguing could be heard.

“WHAT DID YOU DO?” A voice could be heard shouting among the chatter.

“WHAT DID I DO? WHAT DID YOU DO?!”

“THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU HADN'T KIDNAPPED BEN!”

“IT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU HADN'T LEFT US TO ROT EITHER!”

Emma put down her hot chocolate and sighed. “It’s always something in this town.” She made sure her sheriff badge was visible. “Anyone wanna come with me to see what… that is?” She asked her family and friends.

Her parents, Henry, and Hook immediately got up. And, after a moment, Regina, Robin, and their guests followed.

Emma opened the door, and was rather surprised to see a large group of teens standing outside of Granny’s, all arguing with each other.

“EVERYBODY SHUT THE FUCK UP!”

A girl with short brown hair streaked with silver and teal yelled louder than anybody else. She was dressed strangely, in a shirt that resembled a pirate flag, a red and black leather jacket, black jeans, red converse, a pair of broken goggles, and a red pirate’s hat. To the worry of the adults, she had a scar above her eye, and a golden sword attached to her belt, with a black skull encrusted handle.

Before any of the adults could say anything, a black haired boy with oddly familiar blue eyes yelled back, “Oh, sure. Listen to the betrayer. You shut the fuck up, Hannah!”

“For the last GODS DAMN time and all that is evil, I didn't fucking betray you! None of us did!”

“You expect any of us to believe that?! You left, Hannah! You left us all behind!”

“I didn't have a choice!”

A blue haired girl stepped up next to the brunette. “It’s true, Harry! None of us had a choice.”

The brunette–Hannah–paused. A look passing over her face before she spun around on the bluenette. “And that reminds me! WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THREE THINKING? BRINGING BEN TO THE FUCKING ISLE?!”

The blue haired girl spluttered. “You brought four AK’s from Auradon! What does bringing Ben matter?”

The younger girl let a laugh of disbelief. “The four I brought don't have their god damn faces spread all over tv and the isle, Evie! They're not the fucking King and they aren't Mal’s boyfriend!”

The girl then took a look at Ben. “oh my fucking Hera, you didn't even change his colors! And you put his crest on his outfit?! And he's way too clean to pass for an isle kid!”  She gestured to four of the kids. “I changed their colors. They're devoid of their family crests and most importantly, THEY HAVEN'T LEFT MY GOD DAMN LINE OF SIGHT!

“Hey, don't talk to her like that—” the boy with the long brown hair said, defensively.

“Shut up Jay! You and Carlos are just as stupid for this decision!”

A meek looking brunette boy stepped in. “Alright, everyone calm down–”

A boy who looked strangely like Snow cut in. “No, wait, let her finish—”

“Kyle!”

“And YOU Ben, what were you thinking?! You're smarter than this! What would have happened if you got kidnapped by someone who'd actually hurt you—”

“–like Uma and I.” Harry grinned wickedly.

Hannah shot him a look. “Oh shut up, we both you're too soft to actually hurt someone who didn't do shit to you. Now, if only your brain wasn't so soft. Maybe we wouldn't be in this mess. But I guess stupidity runs in this family since CJ already kidnapped the fucking king a month before you did ! Ever heard of originality, brother dearest—”

Ben sputtered in the background.

And the boy who looked like a punk Snow? He laughed. “Oooo boy, she's pissed! Get ‘em Captain!”

“Oh shut it! You aren’t even really a part of this family anyway! Da’ just took you in out of pity!”

The brunette’s face went slack for a second and all hell broke loose amongst the kids. People started to yell and shove one another. Cursing could be heard.

All as Hannah started to glow. “THAT'S IT!” Every one of the kids but her in that moment were jerked down into a seated position.  “UNTIL YOU ALL BEHAVE AND STOP TRYING KILLING EACH OTHER, YOU CAN STAY PUT!”

And with that, the girl ran off before anyone could stop her.

After… that exchange, the adults finally composed themselves enough to start hounding the kids for questions, scrambling for order.

The teens didn’t listen, obviously.

“YOU SON OF A BITCH, UGLY ASS, MOTHER FUCKER, PIECE OF SHIT–” A girl with brown hair and glasses was screaming at the blue eyed boy.

“Shut up, Zee! She had it coming !” Harry yelled.

“Did your sister just put us in time out —”

“Oh, you'll have it coming once I can move again!” A boy who looked vaguely similar to Ruby snarled, flashing fangs at him.

A freakishly tall blonde’s eyes flashed red. “Seconded!”

Three other kids said nothing but looked like they agreed: One's hair glowed with blue flames.

Another blonde dressed similarly to Killian  narrowed his eyes at Harry. “Watch your back.”

Several of the other children chimed in as the boy identified as Ben tried to calm them.

“Okay, okay, EVERYONE CALM DOWN.” David said, trying to yell over the chaos..

Only six of the kids shut up.

The rest of the kids glared at him.

“First things first: who are you? Why are you here?”

‘Kyle’ snorted. “Kidnapping and a Wand.”

“A wand?” David frowned. “So, magic?”

A pale blonde boy spoke up then, sounding meek and slightly afraid.  “Yes sir..”

“Okay. That’s something we can use.” David ran his hand along his face. “Regina?”

Regina glared at him. “Why on earth are you looking at me, Charming? If it was wand magic, who knows how powerful the spell used was.”

“Before we talk about getting them out of here,” Emma interrupted. “Shouldn’t we find the one that ran away first?”

“Right, we should.” Snow nodded, then turned to the teens. “Do any of you happen to know where she might have gone? Then we can focus on getting you home.”

“Either she'll come back in a hour once she realizes she used magic on us or she'll be back in a day when she's cooled off.” The tall blonde said.

“If there's an orphanage, she might be there.” Kyle snarked.

Shut up Kyle.” The Ruby-boy said exasperated.

“Who cares.” Harry muttered.

“She'll be fine. She does this.” The blonde in Killian’s clothes said dismissively.

Zee stubbornly refused to look at them and said nothing.

And the meek blonde, a girl with black hair, Ben,  a girl with light brown hair, and a red head girl all meet one another’s eyes, looking uneasy. Then, after a moment, the blonde blurted out. “The ocean.”

“The ocean?” Emma raised an eyebrow.

“She’s a Hook and a pirate. She likes the ocean—”

Harry snorted along with his two friends. “She's not a re—”

The freakishly tall blonde and the ruby boy growled. “Finish that sentence and my dad will have to put you back together.”

Hook?” Killian looked simultaneously panicked and intrigued. “Her last name is Hook?”

“She's adopted.” Harry spat. “ And she's a traitor. So I say leave her—”

“You can't seriously not care about your sister that much—”

“Fuck off, Jay! I'm not taking familial advice from someone who abandoned their cousin—”

Emma, who had had enough of this bullshit, put her finger to her mouth and whistled. Loudly. “Okay! Everyone needs to be quiet, or I’m throwing you all into a jail cell!”

Before any of the teens could begin to argue, Emma moved on. “Number one: nobody is being left behind! We’re going to find the missing girl…what’s her name…Hannah?”

The meek blonde nodded. “That's her.”

Emma regarded the boy. “Thank you. Number two: we’re going to help you all get home. Which brings me to number three: where is home?”

“Auradon.”
