Summary
The judge's gavel slams down with more force than necessary. The judge is a woman in her mid-forties, who is staring Max down with the intensity of an eagle eying its prey, brown eyes pierce into dark blue ones. Max swallows ever so lightly, and a small smile appears on the woman's lips, curving the usual straight line they form on her face. Cruel. Maybe deserved, Max thinks to himself.
"Max Emilian will be sentenced to at least a year in the Blackwood Rehabilitation Centre for Troubled Youth. After that, a reassessment of his capabilities will be possible."Or: Max is a teenage criminal, Blackwood Rehabilitation Centre is his last hope before he goes straight to Juvie. There, he is put under the care of Lewis, one of the senior caretakers, that is in charge of him and three other boys. The others aren’t always exactly nice to him, and Lewis has a tendency to believe their side of the story rather than Max’s.

what if finney has been with the grabber for two years before any of the other boys were kidnapped? when griffin is first brought down, he’s absolutely terrified. finney lacks emotion, going with the punches and the sexual assault with a sort of breeze, clearly showing just how traumatized he really is. then when billy, vance, bruce and robin are brought down, they notice too and are very concerned. finney never fights back and never hesitates to go upstairs when the grabber tells him to. it’s up to the five other boys to rescue the traumatized 14 year old.
