His mother seemed to gather her bearings after a few moments but still glanced at him like he transformed into something horrifyingly unfamiliar.
Her lips weakly stretched into a sad mirage of a smile.
Something about the twist of her lips looked like the porcelain pieces of her facade were cracking.

Meanwhile, Jason is still half convinced that his adoption is an elaborate human trafficking scheme, but this Robin gig is pretty cool. And his new school may be full of rich jerks, but the neighbor kid isn’t too bad. Having an adult trying to take care of him is a bit of an adjustment, but one he might just be able to get used to.

Gotham is a dangerous place, and Tim Drake's okay with that. He's grown up knowing it, he's grown up seeing it, and he's sort of become a immune to everything that comes with it over the years. But monsters? And Hunters? That's a little harder to wrap his head around, nevermind that his parent's are apparantly running around in the centre of it all.
An AU where Tim's parents are hunters and Gotham falls on the higher end of the monster scale, unsurprisingly.

Realistically, Tim knows his parents love him. Many signs indicate so, however he can't seem to convince his heart as much as he can his mind. And eventually, the former is overtaken by the latter. Not knowing what to do he does what he knows best. Blocking everyone out and pushing boundaries.

Tim Drake struggles with his parents' emotional neglect and cannot cope. The sudden change in rules and environment doesn't help. His attitude and irritability is not well received by his family. Cue major breakdown.

When he begins uploading videos with advice for young heroes, he hopes a few new heroes might avoid some of the pain he went through. He's shocked at just how popular his advice suddenly becomes.
