Jin stared. And he stared back.
Who was that?
He was under the bridge, and alone, wishing for company, anyone, really. He had enough smokes for two, even if they would last longer if he was by himself.
He wanted comfort.
But the person in front of him, didn’t look too comforting.
Because it looked like him.
He didn’t know quirks could activate by themselves like that. He didn’t want to clone himself- that was breaking the law! But, maybe, a conversation wouldn’t hurt.
“...Hey..?”
“Hey. Pass me one.” He said, motioning to the box.
“Oh, yeah, sure.”
He passed the box, along with a lighter.
“Smooth, these are our favorites. How’d you’d swing buyin’ these with our money problem?”
“I’ll go out with a bang. It’s gonna be cold outside, and our living situation sucks right now. It’s not like anyone’ll hire us with our record.”
“Fair. But, y’know, since we’re already a criminal..” He smirked.
“No. Ma’ always told us to not end up Dad, remember?”
“Ma ain’t here anymore! You think she wants to see us up there?” He nodded to the sky.
“She doesn’t want us to end up down there with him!” He waved his hand in a circle. “She wanted us to end up like our brother. Wasn’t he the only hero on the scene before his legs got stole?”
“ Ekutopurazumu was too good for where we came from! Lightning can’t strike in the same place, and our apple didn’t fall far from the tree.”
Jin groaned. Himself had a great point, but.. He didn’t wanna hurt anyone. He would have to try to convince himself to- Aargh, this is confusing.
“Well- First of all, we don’t wanna hurt anyone! Second of all, how would we even pull it off? I may be limber as a gazelle but I can’t pull off a heist.”
“Who said you would be alone? You have that clone quirk for a reason.”
“Nevertheless, 3 of us wouldn’t even get close! Not enough-”
“Idiot, don’t you remember the cookie-jar from when we were 6? Where your clones doubled themselves too?”
“...wait, you’re right!” Jin’s eyes lit up,
He might be the only person in Musutafu who would be able to convince himself of something he didn’t want to do.
