Chapter Text
Spencer
They had kept in contact of course they had
He wasn’t going to just leave her; Elle might’ve preferred that at first. But it is what it is.
Elle had moved back to New York, still in the FBI but now working in sex crimes.
And Spencer was, uh, surviving. No, actually he felt fine. His job was great, he has friends, and he kept the secret of going to clubs as a form of therapy (a shit one at that, but still). Not from Elle though.
And then Hankel happened, his team was ignoring his addiction, and he reached a point so low he didn’t know what was what. That was scary.
The worst part was that he stopped talking to Elle. He didn’t even realize at first, he was so caught up in his own problems that he couldn’t see anything around him.
That’s why he was so surprised when she showed up at his door.
He didn’t know what time it was or even what weekday it was, but nonetheless she was standing on his apartment doorstep.
“What the fuck happened to you”
“Elle what are you doing here” he felt wobbly, was that even a thing? He didn’t know but he felt it all right. Also, nauseous.
“Are you gunna invite me in? Or do I have to stand out here in the cold” he could faint any second.
Wobbly, nauseous, and will faint, that was a fun combo for today. “Spencer!” is it today? “Okay I’m coming in”
“Wait what?” She was pushing him back and closing the door behind them, add fuzzy. Wobbly, nauseous, fuzzy, and fainting. “Elle what’s happening-”
“Woah woahhhhh sit down spencer” He was lucky she caught him
