It was the last night where I would stay by your side, where I would lay a gentle kiss to your cheek and wish you a good night.
It was the first morning where the dorm felt like it could crumble and crush us all beneath its terrifyingly endless mass.
It was the last night where we were all together, spending all of what time we had left to share.
It was the first morning where I was scared to open your door.
It was the last night I got to hold you, carry you in my arms, as you peacefully rested.
It was the first morning where our tears of seeing you were of sorrow.
It was the last night I told you I loved you.
And It was the first morning you could not say that back.
