Work Text:
Hawks looked at his growing collection of various pictures of heroes, villains, and everyone in between.
He pinned and unpinned notes as he thought harder, before realizing he had been at this for hours. For all he knew, he could’ve missed his opportunity to follow Twice back to his house.
Did it really matter, though? I mean, now that he knew his fact, it would be easy to find him anywhere. Ooh, and he could lead the heroes to wherever Giran was hiding out, without blowing his cover. He.. He was staying with the League, was he? Did Aizawa work with him sometimes?
Hawks found it annoying how he couldn’t see directly from original him’s eyes, or know the updated version of everything. This stale information on the league was more than he could bear. It would be helpful if he could spy around, but he didn’t have a great excuse if the other Hawks just so happened to be there.
…did he get that sidetracked, that easily?
Giran. He could spy from afar, and explain it as.. Bird nesting habits. The league respects Spinner’s needs, right? He scoffed. Why would anyone respect a villain heteromorph? Let alone such a weak one, like Spinner.
He was at a dead end for more information. How would he obtain it, unless he had access to an extreme pool..of..information..
Hero Public Safety Commission, duh.
He could even report on original him’s loyalty shift! It was a great plan, but maybe, he should take it slow. It would do nothing for him if he rushed it. He would have to be careful at his office, though. He was sure Madame President wouldn’t accommodate his need for bubble-wrapped corners without extensive questioning.
He would also have to get there mostly unscathed and unnoticed, though his un-gooping habits were getting better. Who knows, a strong gust of wind and it could be all over.
He had to save Eri from those horrible villains, no matter what.
Hawks gently sat down his string and push-pins, kissed Bulletin-Board-Chan goodbye, and began flying to the HPSC Building.
