Summary
Tav loses his warlock powers mid battle and is in dire need of a new patron if he wants to save his friends. A familiar devil steps up to make him a new offer.
One that Tav can't possibly be desperate enough to accept.

Raising his left hand Tav called upon his Eldritch blast. Then, for the first time in over a century, Tav’s mind was engulfed in absolute silence. No eternal presence to accompany his thoughts. The energy of the blast that had already started to form in Tav’s palm evaporated and left him empty. Shock took a hold of him as he began to grasp the new reality. With wide eyes Tav stared at his own hand and then at the Bhaalist who was still rushing towards him.
“Tav!”
A panicked scream and Tav’s insides exploded with pain.
