    Fyodor’s lips are soft and warm against his own and make Nikolai lightheaded. The only one who’s ever understood him is in his arms again and Nikolai could scream in joy. That would require him to withdraw from Fyodor though. So instead, Nikolai tugs him closer and deepens the kiss. He’s had all his life to enjoy air; he much prefers to indulge in what he has in this moment. He’s free.
