   Summary

   People's abilities are getting corrupted driving them to despair. The sort of despair that is a part of you. An inescapable despair that pushes you towards the edge of becoming a monster. That monster you might have always been, deep down, now brought close enough to the surface to stare back at you.

    

   Kunikida's book of ideals has turned into a black book of faults, Atsushi is becoming irreversibly more tiger-like by the day, and Yosano's butterflies are flying away.

   What should one do when their strength brings the kind of despair that would make one seriously consider knowingly biting into that poisoned apple?
