Hidden Leaf Village
A Red-Haired boy is running through an alley way in his village. Fear and Distress is etched on his face as he run as if his life depended on it. It is indeed life threatening situation; he was being chased by few Genin level shinobis. Coincidentally, all of them are from the same clan, Uchiha Clan, who holds grudge against him.
Now, you may ask, why would they chase a child? Who is this child? What has he done, to be chased? Why is no one coming to save him?
His name is Naruto Uzumaki, a 7-year-old orphan kid. He was born on October 10, the same day that Nine-Tailed Fox attacked the Leaf Village. It left untold amount of damage to the village and killed numerous people on that day. Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, sacrificed himself to kill it and saving the village. He was praised for it. But he didn’t kill it, nobody could, as Tailed Beasts are beings made of Charka so even if they were to be destroyed, they would just reform after some time.
So, he gone for the only way to save his village. Sealing. Fourth Hokage sealed the Nine-Tailed Fox inside a newborn child. Their known as Jinchuriki (Power of Human Sacrifice) humans that have Tailed-Beast sealed within them. And that is what Naruto is, a Jinchuriki. Ever since then he was hated by the village people and constantly bullied by them. For example, since he doesn’t have any parents or relatives as he is living on his own, he couldn’t buy things for the same price. Wherever he goes he was treated as lesser, something less then human. Oh, some people do show sympathy but even they kept their mouth shut in fear of being ostracised by others. He couldn’t even play with the children as their parent's keep them away from him, even though Third Hokage made it a law to not say anything about Nine-Tails to anyone hoping, Naruto would have childhood.
As for Uchiha, their Bloodline ‘Sharingan’ has said to have the ability to control Tailed Beast, as such they were being suspected of doing it. They were isolated and monitored by other factions inside the Village. After a time Uchiha clan also started to Naruto along the village and blaming him for their troubles. That’s why now some of them are chasing Naruto with an intention to harm him. He was always able to sense others emotions and thoughts better.
“Quickly catch him before he escapes”.
“Stop you little brat”.
“How is a 7-year-old is running that fast and for this long?”
“Probably because of the demon, he is never a human to begin with”.
There it was again the word ‘Demon’. Naruto doesn’t why but everywhere he goes that word follows him like shadow. He was called Demon ever since he could understand words, he thought being called Demon is a praise until he started to see their faces, they always scowl, frown or glare at him. Naruto quickly started to develop the ability read peoples face and always on guard for those who might deceive him for fun. He has too many times fallen for them, and he also started to develop cynical view of the world.
“Now you have nowhere to run you demon brat”.
Suddenly a Chunin appeared in front of Naruto and blocked his path. They were in forest area far away from the village, not that anyone would help him. His heart started beating faster.
‘Is this it? Am I going die here?’ Naruto thought.
“You caused us lot of troubles demon brat. It’s time to say good night permanently”.
As the Chunin advanced on Naruto with kunai in hand to stab him, from behind him one of the Genin hold him from running or dodging the stab.
Naruto who was desperate to live took an old kunai he had on him and stabbed the Genin in his thighs.
“Argh”
Genin dropped Naruto and knelt in pain. Then Naruto turned and sliced the throat of the guy who was chasing him for a while.
“Yeah, die you bitch”.
Naruto has quite the vocabulary for child don’t you think?
When you were being cursed at, everytime someone saw you, you tend get the swear words easily.
“You little shit. You’re hiding that kunai all this time.”
“Well, I need something to defend myself from bastards like you.”
“I will rip open that filthy mouth you little bastard.”
When the Chunin was about to rush towards Naruto, he sensed something and smirked.
“What are you smirking at you bas-”
Before he could finish his words, Naruto was pierced by huge shuriken from his back.
“You guys are wasting time. Anbu will catch up to us anytime now.”
Another Chunin came out of nowhere and struck Naruto.
“We need to quickly dispose of his body.”
“Hey, look he is still breathing.”
Even after being injured Naruto continued to struggle. His regeneration, which he has because of Nine-Tails, kicked in and started to heal him.
“Then we will burn him alive then”.
One of them said as they all smirked as Naruto lying their trying to suck in as much as oxygen as possible. In their eyes Naruto is a Tailed-Beast that should have died 7 years ago, they don’t consider him as human. Watching him trying desperately to cling to his life gave them satisfaction.
Right as they are going to use Fire Style Ninjutsu, they heard a buzzing sound behind them. They turned to see a young man in a red tracksuit standing there, what’s interesting is he has blood-red hair just like Naruto.
“Hey, who are you? I thought this place is isolated.”
Instead of answering the question, the young man raised his hand in the air. Multiple red spears made of chakra manifested and when he brought the raised hand down, it struck them all. After making sure that there were no survivors, he goes near Naruto, who was still healing from the injury and breathing ragged, and knelt down.
“It seems you’re out of danger, Ancestor.”
‘Ancestor? What is he talking about?’
“But I don’t have much time. I will just give you, your gift and go home. I just hope you lead a fulfilling life without any regrets like las time. Make sure to deal with the Uchiha this time.”
‘What is he doing? Is he gonna kill me himself?’
Naruto watched as the strange man took out a syringe canister with green liquid. He injected it into the side of Naruto’s neck.
“Amazing, you were still able to hold on to your consciousness. Well, anyway this is the latest model 7th generation Nano Machine, use it well ancestor”.
Once he finished injecting the liquid into Naruto’s body he stood up and vanished in bright light.
Just as he lost conscious, he heard someone shout his name.
Timeskip (next day)
Naruto slowly opened his eyes and looked around and groaned at the amount of white he saw. He hates hospital and white equally. Then he heard a chuckle beside him. It is the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, he took the office for the second time after the death of his successor the Fourth Hokage. He also knows about Naruto’s burdens and always made some time for Naruto. They have Grandfather and Grandson relationship.
“How are you feeling Naruto?”
“Like absolute shit”.
Hiruzen sighed, he tried and failed many times to get Naruto to stop swearing. Then again Naruto is like wind never one to be controlled by anyone.
“I am sorry you have to go through that Naruto. On your birthday no less”.Hiruzen spoke softly as he knows the Uchiha are getting bolder, but never did he realise they would target Naruto this openly.
‘It’s not like I had great birthday before either, old man’. Naruto thought bitterly. No matter how smart or emotionally mature Naruto is, he still craves parent’s love.
“Can you tell me what happened Naruto? When I got there you were bleeding and surrounded by the dead bodies”
“I was back on my way to home from library. They tried to attack me, and I escaped them and started running in the opposite direction. Once I reached the forest area, a Chunin blocked my way, and I tried defending myself with a kunai I had when another one stabbed me from behind with the huge shuriken from back”.
As he heard what Naruto said his heart broke and he felt ashamed at the fact he couldn’t keep his surrogate grandson safe in his own village.
“Do you know who killed them?”
Naruto shaked his head and spoke.
“I don’t remember anything. I was in so much pain.”
Silence filled the room, as Hiruzen tried think of something to say and comfort Naruto.
“Hey, old man. I don’t want to feel like that anymore. I want to learn how to defend myself.”
Hiruzen thought for moment while he can’t have Naruto trained extensively, some physical training and Taijutsu training should be good, he has the just the person in mind too.
“I will see what can do. Now, take some rest I will come and get in the morning to take you home”.
After old man left Naruto leaned back on his pillow and took deep breath. He tried to calm his rage that he always felt when dealing the Uchiha’s. Just as he was about to close his eyes, he heard a voice.
[Are you up, master?]
“Huh? Who said that?”
Startled, Naruto looked around the room, but he couldn’t see anyone.
[It is me, master.]
“And where are you? Come in front of me”.
Naruto is starting to get panic and shouted.
[Please calm down, master. I am communicating with you by directly connecting to your brain.]
Naruto quickly calmed himself and thought about the situation.
“You mean you’re in my head. Does that mean we can communicate with thoughts, right?”
[Yes, master. You’re correct in that we can talk to each other through thoughts.]
“Okay, now tell me. What are you and how do you get inside my head?”
[I am 7TH Generation Nano Machine.]
[I can transfer information about myself as well as the basic instruction manual to your brain, master.]
[will you accept?]
“Yes”
Suddenly, he felt dizzy and vomited on the floor as lot of information was loaded on his brain by this Nano Machine.
[This will happen only the first-time master. The dizziness and vomiting will not occur as you get used to it.]
“Nano Machine, are there really tens of thousands of little machines in my body?”
[That is correct. There are 6,482,400,000 Nano Machines in your body, master.]
Naruto sighed, as this day is getting increasingly ridiculous for him. He looked at his body to check his injury and was shocked to see no trace of it. He would always heal quickly but those are small wounds he got from playing around the forest. Plus, he didn’t notice it before, but he was bit taller than before and his muscle are more developed making look two years older.
“Nano, did you heal body and what happened to my body?”
[Yes master. I did heal wounds, but something helped accelerate it. I also restricted your body as you were severely malnourished. You also seemed to have secondary source of Chakra in your body that was sealed. Using that I was not only able to heal you completely and restructure body, I also unlocked your own Chakra Pathways.]
Naruto was happy hear that now he can use Chakra, which will help him in becoming ninja. But he got worried about this unknown power as from his readings about shinobi and Chakra they all have only one source of Chakra. Then he remembered Nano’s abilities and smiled
[Nano, I want to you to run a complete scan of body, Chakra and the secondary chakra source you speak of. Also display me all your abilities that I have yet to use.]
Naruto understood that he could use Nano to get stronger quickly and protect himself better. His dream being strongest shinobi is not a dream anymore.
After two hours, with lot of question answered by Nano, Naruto was able to understand the full capabilities of Nano. He now can scan any text without reading and transfer it his brain. He can also observe, memorise other people movements, and transfer it to his muscle and restructure if needed. Due to his already super regeneration, he can develop those muscles faster and strong each time he restructures it. There also Augment Reality or 3D avatar, where he can see a vivid Three-dimensional tutorials for the self-defence martials arts like boxing, karate and judo that already transferred to his brain for Nano.
All that is left is to get to know about this unknown Chakra that is inside of him. His next destination is Leaf Library.
