It was a lazy morning, Xie Lian had taken the day off to take care of his sick lover. The night before he was introduced to how clingy Hua Cheng could be when he's sick.
Xie Lian was used to "Don't worry about this San Lang, gege should take the medicine to strengthen his immune system." but it ended up with Hua Cheng getting sick and begging him to not go to work.
"But gege, San Lang will be so lonely when you're gone.. Won't you give this poor man mercy and accompany him through such suffering? Please?"
As much as Xie Lian wanted to stay home and take care of him, the company officials needed his help. Although his badluck contributed more then he did, he still wanted to do his best to help out.
But he did promise San Lang he'd take an off-day to take care of him. Plus it got him more time to rest.
Sunlight barged through the windows making him bury his face into Hua Cheng's chest to block it out. As he snuggled closer he could feel vibrations, gentle slow vibrations from his lover's chest.
Purr..purrr..
Xie Lian was confused on the topic of why he was hearing purr-ing sounds.'Is San Lang so sick that his bones would rattle? Did a E-ming wander in here?', he loosened himself from Hua Cheng's grasp and sat up making the purr-ing quiet down a bit.
He then looked at the door, it was still closed. Xie Lian was trying to figure out where it was, but then it suddenly stopped.
"Why is gege up?mn, is it morning already?"
Xie Lian turned his head to look at Hua Cheng, his left eye struggling to stay open from the brightness but still looking at Xie Lian's face.
"It's nothing, just thought I heard something." he responded, pushing Hua Cheng's hair to the side so it's not in his face.
"If E-ming is being loud then I can shut him up, that dumb cat always bothers gege." He raises his left hand and intertwines his fingers with Xie Lian's, then brings it to his face and gently kisses his lover's hand.
"E-ming isn't a bother, he just requires attention. I enjoy his childish nature, it's adorable." Xie Lian lays back down and snuggles under the covers, he scoots closer to Hua Cheng and cups his face.
"He's too needy and helpless, not worth gege's time." Hua Cheng gently cups Xie Lian's left hand and moves his face closer to it, cherishing the warmth.
Xie Lian smiled, 'As bad as he talks about him, they're not so different when San Lang is sick' he thought.
Purr...Purrr
Xie Lian's eyes lit up at the sound of the purring, he put his head to his lovers chest. The sound and vibration increased, he looked up at Hua Cheng.
"San Lang, are you able to purr like a cat?"
There was silence for a moment, the only thing that could be heard was the light drizzle outside.
Hua Cheng looked back at him confused but sincere, "Gege, you should take your medicine. You may have caught my cold and it's messing with your senses."
"I haven't caught a cold, please tell me truthfully. Do you purr?"
" Sighs yes, this San Lang purrs like a cat when sick. I'm unable to control suck a disturbance and I'm incredibly sorry for it."
Hua Cheng had a look of sorrow on his face, it was like when E-ming was sad because he accidentally knocked over a plant that Xie Lian was trying to keep alive.
He then buried his face in his lover's chest and wrapped his arms around his waist. "My San Lang is so adorable when he is sick, I love that you purr like a cat."He looked up at Hua Cheng who was surprised by his words.
Hua Cheng hesitated then lowered his head and whispered, "gege.. it's foolish, I'll stop."
"Nonsense! It's adorable, I love that you purr. Don't stop, please San Lang?"
He sighed and smiled, he nodded and then kissed Xie Lian's forehead.
Purr..Purrr...Purrrr
Xie Lian smiled in return and buried his face in Hua Cheng's chest, relaxing off to sleep.
