“Ratio, this isn’t like you. I never have to ask for your attention?” Aventurine chuckles though worry laces his words.
Glancing sideways, Ratio catches Aventurine’s gaze as they continue to weave through the near evening crowd. Penconany never sleeps, but the evening and late night hours draw more crowds. Ratio could include the blonde in his experiment, but that would be revealing his cards that he is sick. A man like him never gets sick.
“I’ve been listening,” he lies (when did he start lying?) “I couldn’t hear you over the crowd, apologies,” He waves his hand to signal they’ll talk more at the bar.Or, Dr. Ratio is on an adventure to solve his "illness" with the help of someone who is causing his sudden sickness.
