   Summary

   The doctors would call it a miracle he survived. Willem would agree to disagree. It would have been a miracle if all three of them had survived the accident, but this? This was hell on earth.
   Jude saw this as an opportunity to repay the kindness Willem had always given him. He always worried of Willem leaving him, realizing there were people much better suited for Willem than he would ever be. But he couldn't think of anyone better suited to teach one how to live in a body that was no longer their own to control, how to improvise and adapt and grow. Maybe it is twisted in a way, but hasn't his life always been?

   Willem struggles with coping with a traumatic, life-altering injury, and Jude realizes just how much he had put Willem through over the years.
