Chapter Text
In a far-off town a few days away from Vale, the sound of fighting and shouting was heard as four men exited a tavern through the bar's window, breaking glass and bone, with a woman slowly walking out through the front door.
"I just asked for directions... And fuckers like you just decided to mess with our tails?!" Green hair flowed from behind the woman's back as she cracked her knuckles. She gritting her teeth in annoyance and revealed a pair of sharpened fangs as her green eyes stared daggers onto the four men. Behind her, a long slick spiky tail slammed down onto the ground, shattering the wooden floor in the process, she was clearly frustrated, and very, VERY, pissed off.
"F-Fine! We're sorry! Stop!" One of the men pleaded, yet as he rose from the ground, a fifth man flew out the bar window, crashing onto the pile of fallen bodies with another woman coming out. This time through the window itself, unbothered by the broken glass.
The second woman wore brown cargo pants and a white crop top, with industrial boots shattering more of the glass on the floor. Just like the first, she flaunted a scaly tail, though thicker than the first.
"So, do you agree now that we should let Tomimi do the talking?" The second woman simply commented, returning her sights to the tavern's main room, revealing the main room littered with unconscious people, the entire area looking like a tornado had passed through it. This got the attention of the green-haired woman as she slammed her forehead onto the other woman, the two seemingly bickering.
"Huh?! And what do you mean by that?!" She angrily replied as she pressed her forehead, but the other woman retaliated by evening out the pressure,
"You were never good with talking anyway." She sarcastically spoke as the girl with green hair caught the face of an incoming attacker, turning both women's attention towards the attacker, with both punching the man simultaneously, sending him to the rooftops of the tavern.
"Whatever, let's beat these dumbasses to a pulp before we settle who's stronger this time!" The two seemingly agreed on their shared love for fighting tore their attention away from them... and onto the crowd of enemies running towards them from the streets.
The woman in green hair raised her hand as a foldable mace-staff stretched out, and crashed onto the skull of one of the attackers. As she swung, she laughed at how fun it was to fight, sweeping those who came up behind her with her tail.
"Yo! Zumama! Aren't'cha gonna get in your mech?" The green-haired woman taunted as the shorter hair of the two threw an entire table upon some more men, exploding into a million pieces in the process and flinging its many shards onto more people. Immediately, the woman stopped as she stared towards the green-haired woman in disgust.
"You believe I'm useless without it?" She said as she hooked another man, slamming his face onto a wall and cracking the concrete, with the other only replying with laughter.
"What? Don't you need it right about now? The score's currently 10 to 6!" She laughed as the other sighed, yet a third voice came out from the bar, as a small girl slowly crept her way out, huddled with her wooden staff, and an enormous tail dragging behind her.
"Umm... actually it is 10 to 8... The chieftain took out 2 guys who were on me..." The girl replied meekly as the green-haired woman stomped on the ground, cracking the road floor under her.
"Godsdammit if only I knew there were two more in there..." She cursed under her breath as the one called Zumama had her turn to laugh.
"What? Afraid to lose now Gavial?" She said as she knocked out a few more men. Yet, as the two fought, the meek girl quickly shouted as she spotted some more men.
"Get down!" Instinctively, the two women backed off into the tavern as they heard bullets being fired.
"Now can you get your mech rolling?" Gavial said as they bunkered down on a turned-over table.
"Does that mean that I can have this win?" Zumama smiled as she sarcastically said, and with an eye roll from Gavial, the short-haired woman raised a radio.
"High Priest from Zumama, let it out for a spin." As she said that, a voice covered with static replied, and as soon as the voice finished talking, they all heard it...
BOOM
A loud shrieking sound as if a rocket had just flown above them was heard. And soon enough, a massive metallic machine landed through the roof of the bar, giving the trio some cover as the attackers outside backed off, gazing upon the big ugly thing...
"As soon as I heard of those red dust thingies, I knew I had to outfit it into the mech!" Zumama said excitedly as she climbed onto the mech from behind. Inside the cockpit, a small blue bird seemed to be operating the machine.
"For a test flight, I'd say that was pretty stable!" The bird chirped as it sat on the thick thighs of the woman.
"Well, it was worth a day repairing it after we got onto this world." The woman said as she began chuckling like a kid in a candy store, looking at all the controls, buttons, and levers inside, she smiled as she pressed a button. And as soon as she did, a river of flames covered the streets, with the people beginning, their aura covering their bodies from harm as the mech began to move... or for the aura-less, get caught on fire.
"What a nerd..." Gavial muttered as the chaos continued for half an hour, the trio making their way out of the village...
"And that's how it's done," Zumama said as she jumped down, proud of her upgraded mech, the trio now stood at a safe distance.
"May-maybe I should have been the one to talk?" The smallest of the three asked, with Gavial shaking her head.
"Nah, they would have attacked us the instant you approached them with your fat tail," Gavial simply swatted away Tomimi's words, the former always preferred a slick tail over a thick one, with Zumama nodding along, sharing the same ideals as her rival.
"For once, Gavial, do I agree with your words." As she said that, the two burst out into a hearty laughing, having had fun with the chaos they brought, with the smallest of the girls about to cry.
"Hnnnngggggg..." She sniffed as Gavial placed a hand on her shoulders.
"Aww, it's fine there Toms, tell ya what? Next village that does not attack us I'll give you a treat for saving us from those gun meanies." Gavial nodded as she lowered her back to level her face onto the crying Tomimi.
"Really?" The smallest one perked her sharp ears at the promise, now smiling, they got on Zumama's mech as it began to drive.
"Yeah, really."
