There’s a soft peck of a kiss to his cheek and the smell of buttery pancakes from what has to be a tray on the nightstand. Taesung was truly lucky to have his boyfriend. This was the second best way to wake up. The first always being with his adorable boyfriend in his arms with a morning breath kiss that neither minded. He blinked a few times as he opened his eyes to let his vision sharpen from sleeping so deeply. Which was the only reason he’d missed the opportunity to watch Haebom cook. He loved watching him in the kitchen or in their garden.
“Wake up, Taesung. You promised to go Christmas shopping with me today.”
“Can’t we stay home? We already have breakfast in bed and post me a shower. It could be a real lazy day together.”
“I don’t want to get last minute gifts…please.” Haebom requested in the sweet tone that he knew would make Taesung fold.
Taesung hummed but knew he was going to take his boyfriend shopping. The chance to see him giddy with the joy of shopping for others. Besides, it was chilly today so he could be as snuggly as he liked.
“Fine but a kiss first.” Taesung caved easily.
“Just one? I can make that happen.” Haebom grinned before leaning in to kiss him tenderly.
“I wish that I had found that scarf.” Haebom pouted a bit as he took a seat at the little table for two that Taesung had gotten them while he’d gone into the perfume shop to get Nam Jiah she had talked about. “It would have been perfect to go with the perfume.”
“She is lucky you got her that perfume.” Taesung mused as he slid over the iced cinnamon latte. “And you probably got that stuffed animal too along with the other scarf.”
Haebom puffed up his cheeks a bit as he felt them heat up. His boyfriend wasn’t wrong. He had bought the stuffed animal to offset where he didn’t get the right scarf. Instead of speaking, he took a sip of his iced latte.
“You’re so cute.” Taesung chuckled softly.
“Speaking of presents, what do you want for Christmas?”
“All I want for Christmas is you. Nothing else is needed.”
“Taesung!” Haebom turned an even brighter shade of red.
“What, sweetheart? It’s what I want.” Taesung teased him further, pleased with his boyfriend’s reaction.
“That was-” Taesung breathily started to compliment his adorably sexy boyfriend for giving him the best Christmas gift he could ask for. They’d come home from having dinner with his mother and tumbled right into what had to be one of top five best presents of Taesung’s life; as much as he loved this it will never top his birthday at the beach.
“Finish that sentence and you’ll sleep on the couch.” Haebom pressed his fingertips to his lover’s kiss swollen lips. Taesung smiled against his fingertips as he wrapped his arm around Haebom’s waist to slide him flush against him.
“Can I be greedy and ask for more?” Taesung asked, gripping Haebom’s warm bare hip playfully.
“No.” Haeboom smiled as his boyfriend started to pout. He leaned up to press a kiss to the man’s cheek before making a run for the bathroom. Thankfully he was quick enough and was able to pause at the bathroom door with a wink over his shoulder. “But you can certainly help me while taking a shower.” A laugh bubbled up from his chest as Taesung was very quick to trail after him with no hesitation.
