“The japanese hot pot. Did you still want to watch a movie after dinner?” Hua Yong huffed in amusement as Shen Wenlang nodded before turning his head to tuck his face into his scent gland. A shiver of want slid down his spine.
“Wolfie?”
“I wanna watch my horror pick.” Shen Wenlang whispered against his skin. Hua Yong stilled for a moment feeling the warmth of the alpha’s breath as well as the flutter of his eyelashes.
“Fine but I’ll hold the popcorn this time.” Hua Yong laughed as Shen Wenlang nipped his neck in childish retaliation.

He was a man with an identity hidden behind whispers and iron-proofed vaults, Lan Xichen's name alone was not to be taken lightly. His name and the word 'nothing' just didn't make sense. And if he really could not have you, it'd be better if you didn't exist at all. So it was silly how insecure he was in front of Jiang Cheng, almost always too afraid like he didn't deserve him, and yet he would not let anyone else have him either.
"Will you still love me, Jiang Wanyin? Even when I become ugly? When I make a mistake?" There was something insecure about this man who held the world in his hands. Always asking for validation. Somehow always blindly grasping for something. But Jiang Cheng laughs, answering as if it was the easiest thing in the world.
Not knowing that with every "Of course, my love." Someone's blood is shed.
Slowly, Jiang Cheng learns that the crimson color in his lover's hands didn't mean blood, it meant love.
