Summary
Something in his gut swirled furiously. His dominant arm twitched, the blade in his grasp shifting up and down. As Dreuer stepped into the shelter of the ramshackle church he let the sword turn nimbly in his hand. Maybe he didn’t have to do this. He could submit to it all, kneel at the altar and give himself to Bhaal after all.
He knew he could kill, he was surely an effective killer. If it spared him his self control to submit to his father’s whims, maybe it would spare his companions… most importantly it might spare Gale.
Dreuer feels that the only way to spare his companions from the wrath of his Urge is to take a life.
