Tommy feels bad, he was a bad guy in the past and he knew that he wouldn’t be so loved by the 118 team because of his past comments, but anyway, he still tries to stick in the team without success, so when Eddie starts chatting with him it surprised him, they talk about the similarities they both have and also about Buck, a lot of Buck, that golden retriever that came into his and his son life. So when he saw the obvious jealousy Buck had, he felt immediately sad and guilty because I mean, Eddie invited him to meet his son after just one week of knowing each other? and of course, the kid wouldn’t stop talking about Buck, that man probably has no idea how loved he is by the teenager.
So he decided to talk with Buck, he had his number because they had exchanged it after the cruise but he thought that maybe it would be more honest to go to his place and talk man to man. That’s how he ended up calling Eddie.
- “Hey dude, how is the ankle?” Says Tommy to Eddie
- “I’m fine, just worried about Buck i know he feels guilty and I’ve been replacing him with you, that’s not a problem that a man with abandonment issues wants, you know “
- “Yeah, I feel bad too, that's why I called you actually, there’s something I need to ask you”
- “Okay? Don't you want to come here and tell me that? I have plenty of unopened beers”
- “I will take your word for another day but I’m calling because i need you to tell me Buck's home address, i want to talk to him face to face you know, i feel bad”
- “Uh, sure but I don’t think he has a problem with you”
- “I know but I want to have a conversation with him alone” Says Tommy with a weird feeling in his chest
- “Oh okay I guess,” Says a confused Eddie “I’ll give you the address but please tell him to call me, I’m not mad just make sure he knows that”
- “Of course, man, thank you.”
And with that, he goes to Buck's loft.
