Harvey sighed, the Farmer had dragged him from the farm house to go to the festival with them.
"Hey, man!" The Farmer called to the strong buff man at some kind of carnival game.
"Hey, farmer. You gonna get smash this stone better than last year?" Harvey bristled, what the hell were they talking about?
"OH, we'll see about that," the farmer said, easily picking up the pickaxe used for the game.
"What about your husband, there? He gonna go before you, show off?" The Farmer looked back at Harvey.
"Yeah, Honey, wanna try and show off those muscles you got from helping me on the farm?" Harvey tsked, walking towards the Farmer. After kissing them on the cheek, he attempted to pick up the pickaxe, struggling to raise it high enough to hit the stone. "Wooo!!!! Yeah, baby, you got it!" The Farmer cheered from the side. Harvey sighs and lines up with the stone, striking it down as hard as he can.
"Oooo, Farmer, you need to make him work a little harder it seems," the tough guy laughed.
Farmer huffed, "He's plenty strong," they said, walking up to Harvey and taking the pickaxe from him. "Right honey?" They smiled, striking the pickaxe down so hard that the machine chimed. The brazen display of strength made Harvey feel weak in the knees as he stared at his spouse. The feeling of amazement was so strong.
"R-right, darling," Harvey stuttered, "I'll be...by the animals," he muttered while blushing, scooting along hastily in a daze, almost running into Shane near the animal pen.
"You alright, Harvey?" Shane asked after seeing the dazed look.
"I love my partner, Shane," he shuttered, "so, so much."
Shane chucked, "That's good."
"Yeah," Harvey laughed, "So, what's new with the animals?"
They talked for a bit until the Farmer walked up, sweating and carrying a scarecrow, "Hey Honey," and kissed Harvey on the cheek. "Hey Shane."
Harvey smiled sweetly, "Hey, how did the grange display do?"
The Farmer lit up. "Amazing! We won! I bought a new scarecrow for the field with the points we won."
"You did really good this year," Harvey said, side hugging the Farmer.
"Yeah? I think we did really well this year," they both smiled at each other.
Shane cleared his throat, and gave a small smirk to the couple, "Well, seems like the fair is wrapping up, you guys have fun," Shane called, walking away to help Marnie wrangle the animals.
The farmer tured to their husband, "Yeah, honey," they smirked and leaned into Harvey's ear, "I think it's time to go home," they then pulled away as Harvey started to melt into them.
"Whoa, tiger, gotta get home first." They both laughed, speed walking to the farm house, looking forward to the day ahead.
