Work Text:
Bronya looked at Seele. It was a normal day for both of them, no it was a normal day for all of them. So then why was she nervious?
She had wanted to give a gift to Seele, why? She had no reason. They just wanted to give something to cherish.
She had spent all of last night making a bracelet for the other girl, it shouldn't have taken that much time really but the string kept snapping or the beads looked a bit off. The other Seele eventually came and helped her as well—they was extremly grateful really.
So she stood in their shared living room, clutching the bracelet behind their hand, leaving a visible mark where she had gripped.
"Bronya? Are you alright"
Bronya nodded at Seele. "The Brony—I am fine. Don't worry about me" They said.
Seele did nothing but offer a smile. Such a sweet smile. Bronya would do anything to keep that smile on her face forever. She could inherently feel a blush creep up on her face.
Seele looked at Bronya a bit puzzled, and moved aside from where she was sitting on the sofa. She patted a space beside her, gesturing Bronya to sit there—which she did so with no refusal.
They stayed like them for some time, sitting in each other comfortable silence, neither saying a word to each other. Their eyes met, staring deep into the others heart. Seele's eyes were like a vast ocean, fully of mysteries left to uncover—as a gentle breeze swayed through the ocean tides of her pupils. Bronya's eyes were serious, calculated but had a softness to them. They could gaze into the others eyes forever.
Bronya took a deep sigh and breathed out, "I.. made something for you."
She brought out the bracelet from behind her back, and took Seele's arm in a gentle grasp, and quickly put the bracelet on her. It fit perfectly
The bracelet was nothing to out of the ordinary, it had a blue colored star as the center piece—with many purple, blue, and white beads in a neat circle. Seele curiously stared at it, and brought it up to her eyes to have a closer look. Bronya stared intently back at her, awaiting a response.
After a few moments, Seele gave a cheerful smile. "I love it." She said.
Bronya sighed and smiled back, embracing the other girl in a tight hug despite not being of the physical affection type. Seele hugged back, and spoke. "It was really easy to tell you were hiding something you know."
"Really?"
"You rarely ever seem nervous, that was practically a give away." Seele said, giggling a bit.
Bronya pulled back from the hug, giving a quick kiss on Seele's cheek—causing her to blush for a moment. They stayed in each other's closeness, as Seele put her head gently on Bronya's shoulder.
A figure approched in the background, resting on the headrest of the sofa behind the other two. Their hair partly draped down the seat. "Gosh, that took long. Do you know how annoying it was to constantly see you fidgeting?" She asked.
Bronya turned their head back, and looked at the red-eyed Seele who was looking at them both. "Yet you never said anything."
"That!– I wasn't just going to spoil the suprise for Seele!" The other Seele retorted.
Seele let out a quiet giggle, as she broight her head up and looked at her other half.
The other Seele said nothing more, and went around the sofa—coming to the front and sitting beside the other two, with a satisfied sigh.
It wasn't an important, but a small moment in both their lives. One they will likely cherish for many years to come.
