Christmas was something that would always be special to them, it was a lively time of the year. Filled with gifts and holidays, which was something Bronya definitely needed. It was a good time for the Seele(s) too.
Despite the fact that they had lived together for awhile now, the same Christmas year after year had gotten a little boring. Even for Veliona who never had much of a childhood to fully enjoy it, which her friends made sure to make up for—felt it has gotten repetitive. Well, do so many people really enjoy doing this year after year with the struggle of unnecessary social interaction and gifts that you have no need for? (Even if she made sure to keep every gift she's ever gotten in pristine condition)
So that is why this year, she had thought of something brilliant! And all it required was a partner in crime to set up, which was easier said than done.
“You brought me all the way out here to put this up?” A gray-haired girl said in annoyance.
Another girl with black hair and red accents replied back in equal annoyance, “Shut it Senti! I already helped you out with Fu hua, so you have to pay me back somehow! And besides if I get caught I won't be caught alone.” That Herrscher was going to annoy her till the day she died, couldn't she just shut her mouth and do what she was told without complaining for one second..
But as much as she hated to say it, she couldn't find the optimal place to put the Mistletoes alone, they needed to be hidden from people coming in but visible enough for those inside to point out.
Senti tch'ed her lips, “Just admit it's because your too short to reach up here..” She glanced down at Veliona, hanging up the second to last mistletoe above the door.
“You–” She yelled out, before quickly covering her mouth as she heard a group of people talking and approaching them in the background. “I'm going to pummel you to the ground..” She mumbled out.
“Hah! I'd like to see you try that to someone like me!” Senti said as she jumped off the stool she was standing on and shoved it out of the way. She leaned against the wall, “Who are we putting this on for anyway? It's not like most of us are hopelessly in love, anymore atleast.” She mumbled the last part, and looked off to the distance, seemingly remembering something.
Veliona sighed, “Look me in the eye and tell me you aren't tired of whatever Sushang and Susannah have going on. And Coralie and Helia.. don't even get me started on Vita and half the people she decides to flirt with.”
Senti rolled her eyes, “I guess there are SOME people then.. I thought this was just an elaborate way for you to kiss Bronya and Seele with no draw back.. seriously you're dating them, I'm sure they'd happily do it!”
A bright blush covered Veliona's face, almost as red as parts of her hair. She swore in her mind that that wasn't the intent (it was) “And yet you're helping me, you want to kiss Hua too!” A blush lit up on Senti's face, “And hang up the last one goddammit!”
“Dang girl, hold on I thought you didn't want us to get caught!”

It was 10 minutes till the party officially started, and a few people had arrived. Hell they'd even managed to get a few people already! The plan was going perfectly.
The worst part about this was that she had to ditch her girlfriends, she had made a horrible excuse—like she had gotten some last minute work to finish. She knew neither Seele nor Bronya would believe it but she left before they could ask questions. The reason she had shown up early in the first place was because she didn't want to be the one caught off guard, hell she planned this! She wasn't going to become a flustered mess and become the laughing stock of a certain herrscher.
So now, it was time to play the waiting game. Fuxi had briefly gone and talked to her to pass the time before she was called by Theresa to help decorate. Veliona felt that she should decorate or help set the table too, it was fun.
While she walked over, Mei and Kiana had arrived at the same time. Veliona was quick to point out the mistletoe above them as they entered. Mei ended up being a flustered mess, while Kiana went and kissed her all over. Way more than necessary.. She would have felt bad only if it wasn't funny as fuck.
She picked up some clean plates and headed to the table near the front doors. Making sure to stay clear of directly standing under them. She glanced up at the clock.
“Huh.. weird they're late..” She mumbled to nobody.
Veliona placed the last plate and stood back. It looked great honestly, the place itself was great anyway, but all the decorations brought it to a new extreme. Schicksal had money to burn, and if it meant venues like this, she would take complete advantage to decorate it.
She walked backwards until she stood directly after the door. She should've brought her phone to take a picture but unfortunately she left it in her hurry. Whatever, someone else could take a way better one.
Some voices sounded behind her, they walked closer and closer to her. She paid no mind to them, whatever fool was going to fall for her ‘trap’ next wasn't her issue.
The voices however.. sounded a little familiar.
“Seele?” A soft voice ran out.
Veliona quickly turned around, it was none other than the two she had been waiting for, perfect! Bronya and Seele looked at her confused, waiting for a response.
Holy shit they were fucking gorgeous. While she was leaving they hadn't put on their outfits yet, but looking at the jaw dropping people infront of her put thoughts in her head that made her want to drop down on her knees and ask how they ever managed to like her. Seele tilted her head slightly, it was so cute! Fuck she was gay..
This time Bronya called out to her, “Seele are you alright?” She asked.
Veliona quickly regained her composure, she could have a gay panic when she was alone. “Y–Yea I am. What took you two so long, do you know how long I waited for you here?” She put on a scowl, and walked forward to the door to stand directly with them.
“Well we—” Seele was stopped by a loud gasp.
Veliona turned around to look at the fool who dared to interrupt them, only to find the Herrscher of Sentience in shock and horror pointing above her. “The mistletoe!” She yelled out loud enough for other people to turn and look.
Veliona quickly snapped her neck up, Bronya and Seele did the same too. A blush covered her face, she looked back at Senti trying to mouth ‘why didn't you tell me’ only to be met with a shit eating grin.
She was fucked.
By the end of the day the amount of lipstick she had on her face was only rivaled by that of Raiden Mei. This plan had gone horribly wrong correct.
