Hey!
So this is a poem I had saved on my drafts for a long time. It's a short poem inspired by the duality in Enjoltaire's relationship. I wrote this ages ago and was afraid to post it, but my friends encouraged me, so here it is.

I am everything you are not
I am light and you are darkness
I am quiet and you are noise
I am lace and you are leather
You are a stormy sea while I'm the shore
And yet within me you flow like a river
Changing it’s course

I am everything you are not
I am fire and you are ice
I am high and you are low
And yet with you I change like the leaves in the autumn
Changing color before falling
As I fell and felt myself changing because of you

I am everything you are not
And though you pretend to be the worst
Inside of you beats a kind heart
That I know too well the ways of
That although it has been broken
Still has a place for me
For you are everything I am not
And that is the best thing
That you could ever be
