Test Tube was working late at night in her secret laboratory, looking at a book while experimenting with water.
Then she gets interrupted when Fan shows up sliding into the lab but luckily she was done but the time he arrived.
“Oh thank goodness your here Fan, guess what? I found it!” She said happily.
“Found what?” Fan asked in confusion.
“Well, you know that lake we found Oj and paper in? Well turns out that this lake has some kind of curse in it and I’m trying to figure out how to break the curse.” Test Tube replied.
“Curse? What curse? What are you talking about?” Fan said with confusion.
“{sigh} It’s found in this book I’m reading.” She said as she pulls out an old book filled with dust.
Fan grabs it from her and begins to read through it.
“So what’s the story behind this curse?’ He asked.
“Well basically it’s about these 2 witches who are actually a couple who stumbled upon this lake and made some love in it. But then the male witch drowned which prompt the female witch to curse the lake before she dies from a broken heart.” Test Tuube explained.
“Yeesh that’s harsh. But what your saying is, the curse only affects male who are in love or have a crush on someone?” Fan asked.
“Yes, and we already have like 4 victims who nearly drowned in it. First there was Paintbrush who drowned during a heatwave with Lightbulb, then Silver Spoon drowned while saving Candle during the winters time, then Yin-Yang drowned and was presumably transported into the afterlife and now recently Paper who wanted to impress OJ.” She said while showing Fan the files.
“But Test Tube, isn’t Paintbrush Non-Binary?” Fan asked.
“Yeah but that still didn’t men that the cycle was repeating itself.” Test Tube replied.
“Cycle?” Fan said with confusion.
“Yeah this happens to every male contestants during the 3 inanimate insanity seasons. But there is a plus side to this curse, if they’ll be able to survive drowning in that lake, then they will be happy with their loved ones.” Test tube said.
“So what are we going to do?” Fan asked.
“Well the only way to break the cycle, is for me to drown in it.” Test tube said with a serious tone.
Hearing this causes Fan to be shocked, it almost feels like she’s going to commit suicide rather then volunteering to do it.
And even though he was against this, he would still stay by his friend’s side in order to break the curse.
And so after standing around here in silence for a few minutes, the two of them exited the lab and head straight forward to where the lake is.
Hopefully to end the curse.

The first thing they came across was a do not enter sign.
Seems like OJ did put up a sign saying that they shouldn’t go into the forest which includes the lake after all.
But they decide to ignore what the sign is saying and go through the woods anyways.
And while walking in it, they discover how peaceful and beautiful the woods can be during the night.
With Owls hooting, birds flying through the air and even the stars out there being as beautiful then ever.
But they stop looking at those things when they reached the lake.
And now it was time for Test Tube’s plans to go into full action.
“Alright Fan, here’s the plan. You’ll stay right there in the surface, while I go into the water and drown myself so that the cycle can be broken.” She explains to her friend.
“And after that, I go and save you right?” Fan asked.
“Uh, yeah. Yeah that.” She replied.
So she steps onto the docks and looks at the water of the lake.
Even though she was nervous about drowning, she always wanted to figure out the purpose of this lake.
As it turns out that she was asked by OJ to figure it out after what happened to Silver Spoon and Candle during the Christmas party.
And so after standing there for like 2 minutes, she looks at fan with a brave face.
“Goodbye Fan.” She said.
“Uh goodbye?” Fan said being confused again.
And so she dives into the water and Fan watches as she swims to the bottom of the lake until she was out of his sight.
Now all Fan has to do is wait until the perfect time to rescue her once she’s blacked out.
Easy right?
Wrong!
As suddenly while walking around the dock while also holding his phone, he starts to feel the dock starting to break apart {which does make sense since it’s made out of woods.}
And even though he tries to escape, he accidentally steps on a broken piece of the dock which causes one of his feet to get trapped.
He doesn’t know whats going on? Or why this is happening.
Maybe it’s the curse making sure that the cycle continues and not be broken by Test Tube’s attempt at drowning herself.
But whatever’s going on, doesn’t seem all that good for poor Fan.
As after he gets his foot unstuck, the dock tumbles over.
Causing him to slide into the lake.
And this was only the beginning of this madness.

Thankfully he was able to suck in enough air before going underwater.
But despite his effort with trying to swim back to the surface, Fan forgotten that he can’t swim due to him being a object made out of paper.
So his best choice was to get Test tube’s attention and have her bring him to the surface.
And even though that might ruin her plans, it’s better then him dying.
And he was about to reach her when suddenly he sees the reeds becoming sentient, which he deduces caused some of the male objects to drown.
And despite his efforts of getting out of the way, he still gets grabbed by one of them.
Welp, it’s time to panic now.
He tried to pull the reeds out of his leg and even trying to get Test Tube to notice him but she was still sitting there with her eyes closed and was waiting for herself to drown.
So the next best thing was for him to scream to her. But that would result in him losing a lot of air.
But he decides to go through with this anyways and scream at her for help.
And thankfully this catches her attention as she sees that her friend in trapped under some reeds.
And seeing him like this really scared her.
So she decides to swim back to the surface to get some air and save him before it’s too late.
But what Fan saw was that she’s going to abandon him and leave him to die underwater.
But thankfully he didn’t have time to think about it as suddenly Test Tube kicks him in the face with her legs
and he blacks out almost instantly.

{gasps}
Test Tube was able to make it to the surface and starts gathering up some air that she’ll need to save Fan.
And after she gathers enough air, she dives back down into the water and immediately sees that Fan is now unconscious with his body completely unmoving now.
Seeing him like this, really scared her but luckily she was able to calm down and starts to pull on the reeds and hopefully pray that they will snap.
And despite herself losing a lot of air as time passed on, she was able to get the reeds out of his leg.
Now it was time to swim back to the surface.
Which Test tube does while holding onto Fan, as she hopes that he’s still alive and not dead.
Then after she reaches the surface and starts to gasp for air again, she managed to pull both herself and Fan out of the water and back onto the ground.
She lied down on the ground while catching her breathe, only for her to start to breathe normally again and sees that despite being out of water, Fan was still not moving or breathing.
“Oh no, Fan!” She said worriedly while running towards her friend’s unmoving body.
Test Tube saw that his eyes were still closed, his body was now pale and there was water still dribbling in his mouth.
This made her really worried for him
“Please don’t be dead.” She said to herself as she grabs Fan’s arm and places her fingers on it to hopefully find a pulse
But much to her dismay, she couldn’t find one.
“No.”

This isn’t how she wanted this to go.
Her plan failed.
Her plan basically backfired on her by having Fan drown instead of her, causing the cycle to remain unbroken.
She cried for a minute or two until she decides that it was time for her to revive him.
And although she’s a scientist and not a medic, she still knows all of the step of doing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. {or CPR for short.}
So after she wipes away the tears of her face, Test Tube begins the process by pushing on Fan’s chest for about 30 times.
And despite them not working because well he’s made out of paper, that didn’t stop test tube from doing the second part of it.
That being mouth to mouth.
Even though she did get a little embarrassed and uncomfortable by it, she decides to do it anyways for the sake of her friend.
And after blowing into his mouth for about 6 times, Fan didn’t wake up.
Meaning that Test Tube has to repeat the process until he does.
And then after doing this for like 5 minutes with the scientist starting to lose hope for him, suddenly she hears a gag.
“Fan?” Test tube asked.
She then looks at Fan wakes up and starts to cough up a lot of water he literally inhaled while being unconscious.
While Test tube helps him by patting his back.
And after he was done, he lies back down and begins to breathe again while also seeing that his friend is here.
As he realises that she didn’t abandoned him after all.
“Test Tube? You saved me. I thought you abandoned me after I screamed for help?” He asked while also taking deep breathes.
“Of course I saved you. Plus what kind of friend I would be if I did abandoned you? A bad one. But thankfully I’m not a bad friend.” She replied.
But then after she helps him up to his feet, Test Tube starts to feel like she’s dizzy and that she’s having migraines.
Which doesn't help the fact that a few seconds later, she starts vomiting onto the ground and that’s when she realises one thing.
Test Tube forgotten that without her green liquid, she will become sick and act like she’s drunk or something.
Despite this, she still decides to take him back to the hotel so that the staff will heal them.
And while walking out of the forest they begin to have a chat.
“Are you sure you can handle this Test Tube? You’re sick, there’s no way you’ll be able to get us both to the hotel in time.” Fan said sounding really worried for his friend.
“I know, but it’s the least I can do for us.” Test Tube said while still having a smile on her face.
And so after a painful walk through the forest, they were able to make it through the entrance of Hotel OJ.
As they were greeted by a worried OJ and Paper, a shocked Bomb and a fainting Soap.
“Guys, we need help. We nee- hel-.” Test Tube struggled to say before she ends up collapsing onto the ground with Fan also falling onto the ground.
Despite breathing heavily, she sees OJ telling Paper to call Dr Fizz and the rest of the guests and staffs to calm down.
She doesn’t know what happens next as her vision was starting to fade.
But at least she got to look at Fan for the last time as she managed to grab his arm and hold it tightly.
and the last thing she said to him before blacking out from the sickness was…
“Thank you Fan for being there for me.”
“And I love you.”
Then everything faded to black.
