Kai watched as the truck that Kalmaar hijacked was chasing after the two people riding on their bicycles.
And seeing that it is now close, it was time for him to take action by running on the rooftops and jumping onto it.
Then he proceeds to kick the sea creature in the face once he enters the inside of the truck through the window.
“Remember me?” Kai asked as he takes off his mask.
“Of course, I remember you. I saw you just five minutes ago in the street.” Kalmaar replied sarcastically before he tries to hit the ninja with his tentacles which he dodged by the way.
“That was sarcasm, which, I guess, they don’t have wherever your’e from!” The fire ninja said while dodging more of the tentacle attacks.
Then the two of them fight while forgetting that the truck is still moving, and is likely to fucking hit and kill someone.
But just when they stopped fighting, the drawbridge that is connecting to the canal has already opened up.
And while the two paper kids Nelson and Antonia, were lucky to jump over the bridge with their sick bicycle move.
For Kai and the villain, not so much.
As after moving to the bridge, the truck manages to fly into the sky.
Before it starts falling and lands in the canal.
With both Nelson and Antonia watching what’s going on and becoming scared of what might happened to Kai.
But not Kalmaar because he is a sea creature.

When he opened his eyes after screaming, he saw that the truck is now underwater and that Kalmaar is no where to be seen.
Only to realise that the entire inside of the truck is now filled with water, and due to the door being broken and so is the window being up, he pretty much trapped here.
Only to see Kalmaar looking at him evilly.
“Well, well, well, it seems like you forgotten that since I’m come from a underwater kingdom, I can breathe underwater, And you surface dwellers can not. Enjoy sleeping with the fishes Ninja, as I have a storm amulet to steal.” The sea creature said evilly.
And then he leaves by using his tentacles to swim faster underwater.
Hearing what he said caused Kai to panic extremely hard.
As ever since he was a kid, he’s always been terrified of water.
Whether be from the river, the ocean, the canal or even a lake, he’s been pretty much terrified of it.
And ever since the Yang’s haunted temple fiasco with him freaking out over water, Master Wu told them that he had a bit of Aquaphobia.
Meaning that he’s extremely afraid of water.
And even though he was able to maintain that fear for over a few years.
And being supportive to his little sister Nya of being the elemental master of water.
He was still scared of drowning in here right now.
He tried many things to get out like opening the door, trying to break the window and even using his elemental powers on it.
Not realising that fire can get extinguished by water.
He hold for about 2 minutes, until the need to breathe came in.
He felt his lungs were on fire, he felt his heart rapidly beating and he felt himself being scared.
So he tries to kick the front-shield of the truck in an attempt to get it open.
But nothing was working.
But he still tries, for everyone’s sake.
For Lloyd, for Nya, for Cole, for Jay, for Zane and even for Master Wu’s sake.
Then despite his protesting and refusal, his body began to give up on him.
Resulting in him coughing up a lot of air he had left, and beginning to inhale water into his lungs.
Now it was time for him to push the panic button.
He frantically looks for something, anything he can use to get the fuck out of here.
But there was nothing he could do but just accept his fate.
So he sit back down to one of the seats of the truck.
And blacks out.
Hoping that someone will save him from being killed by the water.
His most greatest fears.

Meanwhile, Nelson and Antonia were still looking at the canal that the truck fell into.
“What do we do?” Nelson asked his friend.
“Maybe I should-.” Antonia tried to say.
Before suddenly Kalmaar jumps out of the water and back onto the surface where the two paperkids are.
Then he sees the storm amulet on the 2 bicycles and proceeds grab it with one of his own tentacles.
Causing Antonia to run towards him, but he stops her by pointing his trident at her.
“What is your name?’ The sea creature asked.
“Antonia.” The papergirl replied.
“Are you, a ninja?”
‘No.”
“An elemental master?”
“No.”
“A mystic?”
“Uh-uh.”
“An oni?”
“Not even close.”
“Serpentine?”
“Ew.”
“Vermillion?!”
“No, I…I’m just a papergirl.” Antonia said
“Paper…girl?” Kalmaar said with confusion
“We….deliver newspaper.” Nelson said to him.
So the sea creature grabs a newspaper, sees it and looks at Antonia again
“A papergirl! Ah, how amusing…” Kalmaar said as he throws away the newspaper and begins to laugh at her for being a papergirl. {dude, that’s just sexist, and I know that because I’m a girl too.}
“What’s so funny?” Antonia asked in confusion and anger.
Then he stops laughing at her.
“Of all my foes, of all those who have tried to stop me. You, a common papergirl, came the closest. Perhaps I have underestimated your loathsome species.” Kalmaar evilly said.
Until he jumps back into the waters in the canal with the storm amulet.
And swims out of the 2 paperkid’s sights.
But now’s not time to focus on what’s going on now.
As Kai is still in danger, possibly drowning to death.
“Kai’s still down there!” Nelson said worriedly.
“Here, hold my bicycle helmet.” Antonia said to him, while she does so.
“Wh-, what are you doing?” He asked in confusion.
“I’m going to show that evil octopus that I’m not a common papergirl.” She replied.
“By saving Kai?” Nelson asked again.
Which he is responded with Antonia nodding her head at him which means yes.
Then she dives into the water with Nelson nervously waiting for her to come back with Kai.
Hoping that the elemental master of fire isn’t dead.

When she was underwater, it didn’t took Antonia that long to find the truck and Kai inside of it.
Who has already lost conscious.
But luckily she didn’t panicked, instead she swims towards the truck and tries her best to open the door.
But it was too hard, as the door was sealed shut from the water.
And all it took to open it was Antonia using her bear strength to tear it apart.
Then she grabs Kai and pulls him out of the inside of the truck.
And thankfully she was able to swim back to the surface while carrying Kai,
Just before she began to lose air.

When Antonia made it to the surface with Kai, Nelson was really happy to see that she’s ok. And that she was able to save Kai aswell.
“Antonia!” The paperboy said happily.
Then she was able to bring Kai and herself to the ladders on the canal where she gives him to Nelson.
“He’s not breathing.” She said worriedly.
Then when they were both back onto the floor, Antonia puts her ear on the fire ninja’s chest which resulted in her face going white.
“And even though it’s there, his pulse is really weak.” She said to Nelson really worried.
“Ok, step back, Antonia. I know CPR.” Nelson said to his friend.
Using the lessons he taught, he pushes Kai’s chest for like 30 times.
But despite that, it did nothing.
Nelson realises that in order to fully perform CPR, it should be first chest compressions then mouth to mouth.
So he looks at Antonia.
“Hey Antonia? I’m gonna need your help.” He said.
“What help do you want me to do?” She asked.
“I’ll do the chest compressions, while you do mouth to mouth on him. Hopefully that will be able to get him to start breathing agin.” Nelson explained.
“What? Are you crazy? I’m not ready to kiss boys yet. I’m practically 15 years old.” Antonia said in anger.
“Mouth to mouth isn’t really a kiss, but we have no choice, this is the only way to save him.” Nelson replies.
“Ok Nelson, let’s go save him.” Antonia says with determination.
And so just like Nelson orders, Antonia does mouth to mouth on Kai.
But despite that, it still didn’t do anything.
So the 2 paperkids repeated the process.
When they got the third round, both of them were staring to get tired but they still continue on for Kai.
It wasn’t until 6 round of CPR later, that Kai suddenly regains consciousness and begins to cough out a lot of water he had in his lungs.
While both Nelson and Antonia looks with happiness in their eyes.
“I did it.” The papergirl said.
“No Antonia, we did it.” Nelson said to his friend while touching her shoulder.
It didn’t take long for Kai to finish coughing up water, then after he regained his sights he saw what happened and who saved him.
Only for him to see that both Antonia and Nelson are with him.
So he smiles at them.
But this moment is interrupted by the arrival of Kai’s father Ray, Master Wu and even Cole.
:Kai! What happened? Are you ok?” Wu asked the fire ninja.
“I’m fine, but tentacles…{coughs, coughs} he…he got away.” Kai struggled to say due to how long he was underwater.
“He went that way.” Nelson said while pointing the direction that Kalmaar went.
“We tried to stop him. We really did. But we weren’t fast enough. He got that round thing, I’m really sorry.” Antonia said, feeling guilty about what happened.
“Oh, child. You did all you could. And we thank you for it.” Wu said to her.
:yeah, the importan thing is, you were here.” Cole also said to her.
“Yeah like Cole said, if you hadn’t been there, I might still be at the bottom of that canal.” Kai also says to her.
“Thanks, guess like to you guys, I’m not a common papergirl after all.” Antonia said as she smiles at the praise she got.
“Come! There isn’t a moment to lose! Perhaps we can still catch them!” Wu said to everyone while running to the direction that Nelson gave them.
But before he leaves too, Kai walks back to the 2 paperkids.
“Nelson? Antonia? I just like to say, thank you all for trying to protect the amulet and for saving me as well.” Kai said to the both of them.
“Any times Kai.” Nelson said.
“Yeah any times.” Antonia also said.
And so he runs back to the others while the two paperkids stands there and watches with a smile of their face.
And as Kai looks back at them, he smiles at them too.
As he’s glad that during the most worst time in his life.
Some of the citizens of Ninjago were able to be by his side saving him.
And inspiring him to never give up.
