Once upon a star.

The girl awoke among the stars with no past, and no fate planned for her as her very existence defied the laws of the world. She was somehow still alive after no exposure to life for who knows how long, with a mind filled with confusion for what was going on.

However, an unknown voice made itself heard,

“Once upon a time, there was a weeping maiden in a ruined world.”

“Follow what your heart used to believe in. That is what makes you human, and the most brilliant star of all.”

It was an impulsive decision when I first wrote my TWST fics, and before I got to start writing chapters, I got dragged out on "summer vacation" with my parents! :D

But, thanks to that, I finally got time to get my psyche back on track, and cook up some actual brainstorming instead of brain rotting and go full procrastination mode instead of figuring out the plot & lore for my Yuusona... haha... (my friends are gonna kill me for not updating-)

Anyhow! I'm definitely going to fix up some tags, organize ideas for the draft, and post as soon as possible with school on my hands now. Give me your blessings everyone! Because all of that with the Ao3 Authors' curse to stack on top is going to break my spine! (no, genuinely, I'm scared guys helpajlshdkjahsdjkhas)

For those who have been here for a while already, you probably guessed that Yuu/mc here, is either a yuusona inspired by a character from the Honkaiverse, or straight-up character inserted from one of the games. for those who guessed the first option, congrats! You are correct!

well, I'm gonna make some changes to the original character draft but don't worry about that-

doesn't really change the fact that if you do decide to leave, can't really blame ya, but if you somehow stay I owe you my life- hahaha... (this is going to be deleted when I start getting productive, isn't it? I'm gonna stay up at 2 am over something stupid. *sob*)

Guys, I am this close to making Yuu have a personality split situation, alright?

I keep switching back and forth between the "Calm, but brings chaos when bored" and the "Chaotic but lovable little guy that actually means well" personas for Yuu.

I’m thinking of a Yuu that is seen as an older brother/dad energy kinda person(omg Trey??), that actually gives really good advice. However, they find things that most people in twst find terrifying fucking sick, and brings chaos as he wills it. Most commonly, whenever he’s bored…

Spends a lot of time learning as much as they can about this new world, finding as much as they can with the parallels they’ve noticed between Twisted Wonderland and the old Disney content they managed to rewatch even after they’ve grown up- before being run over by a horse.

Oh, and of course, they’re freaking terrifying when genuinely angered, especially when it comes to matters between life or death.

Really cool, right? Great! Because the next day, a tiny, pocket sized version of the person with the same name slams my door open with a fucking- is that a nerf gun- ?!

This guy is the definition of a typical chaotic teenager, with too much time to make their life ridiculously comical, a shit ton of jokes that either land immaculately, or is just so bad that you can’t help but laugh. (With additional wholesomeness)

Mrs “I’m at the top of the world” tries to make things as fun as their awkward communication skills possibly can. Especially for people they’ve found themselves to care about over time.

Small thing though? People in the inner circle have gotten so used to Yuu being unserious and saying the weirdest things outta nowhere, they’re not used to the idea of Yuu getting serious . That happens only when other people are in danger of dying, or when people they care about are being treated badly. When they’re the leader of the operation, they do the best they can to play the role if there is no one else who can do the job.
This happens most notably, during Overblots .

Another fun thing is that, when they’re serious, they’re more likely to get frustrated because of how all of the stress suppressed by the good ol’ play-pretend and jokes is suddenly brought up to the surface. So don’t be surprised when passive-aggressive lines, sarcasm, and crashing out over how stupid it is that the idea of teamwork presenting weakness- or the concept of somebody being a liability(which, the first ‘Yuu’ can agree on), is apparently popular enough in Night Raven Collage to make nothing but trouble, gets uh- thrown around more often..

And most of the time, that truck-load of worms usually ends up crashing into Yuu for no other reason than simply existing.

(Also, since Yuu just jokes around their friends most of the time, most people aren’t used to them being loud to sell a bit. They’re more used to Yuu being loud to command the room. Which, makes good wiggle room for misconceptions and some FUN outside pov-)

This little shit has been worming around like a parasite in my brain since the end of 2023 . My Yuu's personality is as inconsistent as their goddarn design . They share the same lore, love for chaos that they cause themselves, and their abilities. But god, I can NOT choose on my own.
