Chapter Text

“Sanji-kun! Look out!” Nami yells as she watches her opponent direct his attention to him, sending his devil fruit power his way.

Sanji has just a moment to grasp the situation before the impact of the random pirate's power sends him crashing into the mass, cursing as his body throbs in pain.

“You asshole! What the hell did you do to me?!” He shouts in frustration, glaring at the annoying smug look the pirate has on.

“Ha! Let's just say you better like your younger self!” The pirate laughs.

“That makes no sense, asshole!” Sanji says, irritated as he watches the pirate laugh at him.

“You're getting on my nerves! Thunderbolt Tempo!” Nami yells as she strikes down lightning on the pirate, knocking him out.

She runs over to Sanji as she checks for any injuries or changes “Sanji-kun? are you alright?”

“Not to worry Nami-swan!! I feel as good as before! Though it's nice having you worry about me!” He says, swooning over her concern.

“Idiot!” She sighs, knocking her knuckles over his head “just make sure to go to Chopper as soon as this is over” She adds, looking over to the rest of the crew. It shouldn't be too long now, she mused, their fights are finishing quicker by the second.

She took notice earlier of how her crew stopped fighting momentarily as soon as she yelled, but continued as soon as he started shouting at the man. She helps Sanji back to his feet as Luffy gives the final yell of victory.

Chopper comes running as soon as his fight finishes “Sanji! Are you okay?! What happened!?”

“I'm fine, Chopper” He chuckles. “He just hit me with his Devil fruit, although I feel the same as before.”

“Maybe we should take him with us, we should interrogate him about his devil fruit as soon as he wakes up, but you don't seem to have any injuries as of right now.” by now the rest of the crew have all gathered around them, asking him what happened.

“What's this cook? Too weak to notice when someone's trying to attack you?” Zoro muses, his lips tilts into a smirk as he waits for Sanji to rise to the bait.

Hook, line and sinker, He does

“What was that, you damn Mosshead?! I'll show you too weak!” He yells, striking a kick to the swordsman's head.

Nami sighs in annoyance next to Robin as she watches the idiots fight, Chopper yelling at them that they just had a fight, Luffy and Brook laughing, along with Franky who praises their liveliness, and Usopp who stands on the sidelines shaking his head.

“Guess he must really be feeling okay, since he can go on like this” she sighs.

“Yes perhaps” Robin giggles “although I do hope that devil fruit wasn't a type of slow building poison which is why he feels nothing right now, that would mean eventually he would die a slow and painful death”

“R-robin, stop saying things like that!” Usopp shivers from where he's sat on the floor, Nami silently agrees with him.

“Sanji! Meat! Stop fighting with Zoro, I'm hungry!” Luffy’s stomach grumbles as soon as the words are out of his mouth, making the cook pause in his mini fight with Zoro.

“Right, those idiots ruined our time schedule, I'll go get started on dinner then” He says, heading for the kitchen.

“And while he's busy with lunch,I can patch you guys up” Chopper says, leading them to the infirmary while they wait on the food. Hopefully not for too long.

And just as Chopper finishes bandaging Usopp, him being the last one, Sanji calls them to eat. Luffy runs past all of them, yelling about food, they all simultaneously give a sigh and a chuckle as they follow close behind him.

After they eat themselves full and Sanji and Brook take care of the dishes, everyone is heading for bed and Zoro for night watch.

“Oi, Marimo!” Sanji calls out “There's some food for your watch on the table”

“Yeah yeah, just leave it there and I'll come get it later” He replies,waving his hand as he leaves.

“Tsk, ungrateful Moss-head idiot” He rolls his eyes as he too, heads out for the night.

“3021, 3022, 3023…” Zoro stops as his stomach starts growling, he supposes it's time for a break.

He starts walking down the crows nest and notices the light of the kitchen still on and he frowns, it's roughly about 3 am, why is the cook still awake?

He steps into the kitchen and the question dies on his lips as he's pushed into the Galley wall, a knife pressed against his neck.He looks down and is that..

A…girl?

His mind starts screaming warnings, this girl was able to sneak on the ship without him knowing and caught him off caught. She finally looks up to speak, She looks like the cook, a young, female curly-browed cook, does he have a sister? How did she get in?

“Who the hell are you? And where am I?” She growls out.

What the hell.

“Answer my question,you living seaweed!” The girl yells as she watches Zoro stare at her in shock.(She makes him just as irritated as the original curly).

“That should be my questions,you snuck onto our ship,looking like our cook and press a knife into my neck and then ask me questions?” Zoro grumbles and he twists the arm holding him down, smirking when she gasps in pain and slams her into the ground,holding her arm behind her back.

“Who the fuck are you kid? How the hell did you get here?” 

“What the hell are you talking about?! Aren't you the one who kidnapped me?!” She yells from her place on the floor, struggling to break free.

“Why would we want a small girl who can barely fight?” He questions,throwing a glare to the girl.

“Shut up fuck face! And what do you mean,did you not kidnap me?”

“No,you brat! How many times do I have to tell you,I came here looking for my food curly 1 made me and here you were.”

“The fucks curly 1?! And how can I just randomly come here?!”

“Randomly huh…” Zoro mumbles as he starts thinking of the previous day's events,the devil fruit the cook got hit with,that must be why the girl looks like him.

“Wait here kid,I need to go get my crew,don't move” he gives a glare before leaving,ignoring her angry cries of denials.

He reaches the women's bunk first,it'll probably be better to have other girls with her.

“Oi,Robin! Are you awake?” He knocks lightly on the door,by now it's most likely after 4,she would wake up soon in any case.The door opens slightly just as the thought reaches his head.

“Swordsman-san” she smiles tiredly,her hair a bit disheveled “what can I do for you?”

“Uh- I think the devil fruit the cook got hit with worked,I thought it would be a good idea for or the witch to be there..” He grumbles out.

“One of us? What makes you say that?” She questions.

“Take a look for yourself” he shrugs “Take the witch with you too,maybe she can get something out of her.In the Kitchen.”

She hums “I see then,are you going to get the boys?”

“Yeah,this is curly’s problem after all,and everyone else is gonna want to see this, especially Chopper,check for injuries or something.”

“Alright then,Navigator-san and I will take care of the problem in the kitchen while you get the rest” she gives a small smile before lightly shutting the door,you can hear rustling coming inside,most likely waking up the other.

Zoro heads to the boys bunk next, slamming the door open,startling everyone in the room awake.

“Oi! We have a problem,the witch and Robin are taking care of it while I'm here,get your asses up.”

“What the hell,you bastard..” The cook grumbles quietly from his bunk.

“Z-zoro,are we g-getting attacked?!” Usopp whispers nervously.

“Woooo,is it morning already? Sanji! I want meat!” Luffy yells,his stomach growls at the thought.

“Yeah,let's go,my precious Nami-swan and Robin-chwan are most likely waiting for me!!” Sanji twirls as he thinks about it before getting ready.

“Oi! Were you guys not listening!?” Zoro adds from the door.

“What is it,Zoro?” Chopper asks “It's still dark outside…”

“We think the devil fruit worked,the girls are in the kitchen taking care of it..” He sighs

“What?! You left them alone?!” The cook yells as he finishes up his outfit.

“What did the devil fruit do,Zoro-san?” Brook asks,yohoho-ing as he grabs his sword.

“Check it out for yourselves..” He grumbles,as he stomps towards the Galley once again.

Soon enough the sound of footsteps follow him to the Galley,once they're inside a series of gasps echo around.Nami and Robin are sitting with and chatting to a young girl,most likely around 8-9 years old,who looks exactly like their cook,the only exception being she's obviously a girl.

Sanji stares on in shock as he and the girl make eye contact,she looks just as surprised as him.

Soon enough the silence is broken with everyone asking questions about the girl,where she came from,who she is,why she looks like their cook.

“Now now, everyone.Please calm down,we won't be getting any answers if you overwhelm her like this” Robin says,giving a reassuring smile as she notices the girl look at her thoughtfully.

“What do you mean? Haven't you gotten anything out of her yet?” Zoro groans “That's the reason I got you two.”

“Ugh! Don't be such an idiot,we have to make her more comfortable first,she obviously doesn't know how she got here or who we are!” Nami reiterates,rolling her eyes.

“Tsk,Damn Witch..”

“Don't call her that,you mossheaded idiot!” Sanji yells,saying something for the first time since he's entered the Galley,he aims a kick at the swordsman which is blocked with his sword.

The girl narrows her eyes as she watches the exchange,frowning as she studies their relationship based on their actions.She startles as she hears a laugh next to her.

“Nishishishi, Zoro and Sanji are so funny!” Her eyes slightly widen at hearing the names before her poker face is placed on,once again.She watches as Nami berates them for fighting so early in the morning and in front of their guest no less,she notices the blonde stiffen up at the reminder and takes out a cigarette,offering to make breakfast while they question her.

“How about you guys introduce yourselves” Robin offers as she gestures to the rest of the crew,while Sanji gets started on the food.

“I'm Monkey.D.Luffy,I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!” Luffy yells with a grin as the others groan about him being too happy this early,causing him to laugh.

“He's also our captain” The green head says “I'm Zoro,I'm a swordsman” He notices that her eyes brighten more once he's said that,but locks that thought away for later.

“As you already know,I'm Nami” She smiles gently “I'm this ship's Navigator!”

“I'm Captain Usopp! And I have 8 thousand men under me!” Usopp says boisterously,laughing,but everyone sees his knees tremble as the girl turns to look at him.

She gives a deadpan stare “I thought he was the captain..?” She points to Luffy,who's just flicked a booger at Nami and She punches him.

“Don't mind him,whatever he says is always a lie” Nami answers her,ignoring the offended ‘Hey!’ “The blonde cooking for us is Sanji,as i'm sure you can tell, he's our cook”

The girl nods in thought as she hears the night,a small smile flickers upon her face before disappearing once again to the slight frown,making everyone question why.

“I'm Chopper,the Doctor,please come to me if you have any injuries!” Chopper continues as he notices the silence.

“Cute” She mumbles,a light blush on her cheek as she stares at the reindeer in awe.

“Saying that doesn't make me happy,you dumbass!” Giggles flicker around the room as he gives his flustered dance.

“I'm Nico Robin,I'm the archaeologist” She gives a small smile to the girl.

‘The girl the Government's looking for,how odd for her to be on a pirate crew’ She gives a hum.

“I'm Franky,the Shipwright.SUPERRR nice to meet you sis!” Franky grins,flashing a pose.He laughs as the girl lightly claps her hands at his pose.

“Yohoho,I am Brook,the musician.It is quite lovely to meet you,young miss.” Brook gives a bony smile at the girl.

“A skeleton?” The girl questions.

“Ah,yes! It's my devil fruit, you see.I ate the revive-revive fruit,when I died,my spirit was floating around,although, unfortunately by the time I found my body I was all skin and bones,but…i don't have skin,yohoho!”

“Uh-right…” She says as she stares bewildered.

“Well,now that we've all introduced ourselves! How about you tell us how you are?” Nami questions happily,hoping she'll finally reveal who she is.

Her eyes flicker between each crew mate before it looks like she's come up with a decision. “Im-”

Just as she's about to answer,Sanji yells “Foods Ready!” And Luffy barrels pass,forgoing the previous conversation,the girl stares at Sanji with a light frown before nodding to herself and walking to the table with everyone else,she takes an empty seat next to the swordsman.

“You know,you really look like Sanji!” Luffy says unexpectedly,before turning to the person in question “Hey Sanji! Did you have a daughter?!” He yells excitedly.

“Don't be ridiculous!” Sanji yells back,glaring at the captain “And finish your food,we can talk more about this after…” He lights another cigarette as he stares at the now risen sun,the day finally starting.

‘ugh,how troublesome this is gonna be..’
