Summary
Ripped from the climax of their fight with Cazador Szarr by a wayward spell, Gale and his companions must determine where (and when) they find themselves. The fate of Faerûn relies on their abilities to outwit and outmatch some of their greatest foes yet: a half-elf who won't stop touching Wyll's horns, a drunk and disorderly archmage, and a familiar high-elf magistrate with his own designs for our heroes. Finding their way home without destroying history itself means they must face the horrors of the past and, even worse, confront their hopes for their future.
