Luz wandered down the streets of Bonesborough all by herself. She thought about her future, but she just didn't know if Edric was truly the one for her, especially since she just didn't seem to care about anything he had to say until he mentioned his little sister Amity. She noticed she was right by Blight Manor, and she wondered if Amity was alone or if the boyfriend Odalia had forced upon her was there.
Thinking about Amity made Luz feel right and let her imagination go wild. Deep inside, Luz knew that until Amity was constantly in her sights, temptation would flow through her veins. Shaking away the lecherous thoughts creeping in, Luz walked back to the Owl House.
Amity sat down on the hard concrete, having asked Hunter to help her get out of the house. They both knew she didn't love him romantically and never would, but as her forced fake boyfriend, he still wanted to at least do right by her. Amity thought about her future with Hunter, and she just didn't know how to get out of it. She didn't seem to care, but inside she hated her mother for forcing a boyfriend on her despite knowing she had no attraction to men, prioritizing the family's social standing over her happiness.
She stopped walking, noticing that she'd arrived at the Owl House. She thought about Luz, wondering if the Latina who'd truly captured her heart was alone, or if Amity's brother was there, having taken her for his own as Amity was forbidden from pursuing the human of lower social standing. Amity wished her mother saw her as incompetent rather than her siblings, then she would have that freedom.
Thinking of a world where she could be with Luz made Amity feel right, but thinking it could never happen, she decided to let her go of her imagination, until suddenly the door opened and Luz was in her sights. Temptation flowed through her veins, and before she knew what had happened, she found her lips pressing on Luz's.
After that day, Luz and Amity never looked back. Luz broke up with Edric, who was understanding and generous about it as he'd always suspected his sister held a stronger affection for the human than he did. Amity cut off contact with her mother, and her ex-boyfriend defected from the Emperor's Coven to defend her and her new girlfriend from Odalia.
Everything in Amity's life finally felt right, and Luz always let her imagination go wild when they had fun in bed. From then on, they would always be in each other's sights, and the temptation flowing through their veins would be satisfied.
