Luz stared out of her window watching the cars going by on the road. Her friends had all gone off to hang out, and she had nothing to do since summer vacation was coming up and she'd finished what little homework had been assigned yesterday. She sat patiently watching the clock tick, but she felt that she had to go somewhere and do something right away; she had a headache like her brain was going to explode.
Thankfully, her savior rang the doorbell on the Noceda family home at that moment; her girlfriend Amelia was here to give her something to do to kill some time. As they carpooled with some other local punks to one of the many places she could call her home, Luz took away the strains of being lonely by smoking marijuana and fucking her girlfriend while punk rock was blasting in the front of the car. Soon they arrived at the tracks on Christie Road.
Luz joined some of her friends in standing on someone's beat-up car to see the hills from afar. Eventually, the sun went down and night filled the sky, though it didn't make any difference to her since she was high as fuck. She strangely felt so much better, like she'd regained her sense of self, when the train rolled into the nearby station. She'd smoked her boredom away, and her brains were being slapped up so high she even doubted she was ever going to come down.

It was Sunday, and Luz had something she could do to kill some time. Her friends showed up to take her to that place that she called home, and while she was getting high and taking away the strains of being lonely again, they took her to the tracks at Christie Road.
Meanwhile, Amelia had encountered her mother. As usual, Ophelia was stubbornly blocking the road to stop her from hanging out with her friends, refusing to stay out of her way of that place she went to. Nonetheless, she always seemed to find her way to Christie Road, because if there was one thing she needed to make herself feel complete, it was going to Christie Road. As far as Amelia was concerned, it would always be home to her.
