Chapter Text
Hulk flew pass the window Percy was sitting next to. Iron-man was not far behind. Damn, Percy thought that more people would have heard the fight coming towards them.
"Come on Buddy, snap out of it' came Tony's projected voice.
Through the throwing of large, green, angry men, Tournesol (the café, it's French, don't at me about it being out of place) was clasping.
Annabeth was going to be so mad that Percy got into more trouble. Even if it wasn't his fault.
Percy barely noticed the tug in his gut as the dome of water surrounded the people in the café. Wat he did feel was the dramatic shift in peoples blood pressure and heart rate.
In the chaos of the fight Tony did not notice the water, but his old copy of Jarvis did and made note of it for later.
.....
"Sir, you will want to take a look at this."
"put in on the screen Jarvis."
"Putting it up now, sir." on the screen was a clip from Tony's fight with Banner. it stopped at a still frame showing a ground floor café collapsing only to hit a wall of unmoving water. the chaos of the café was disrupted by a single, very hot, man. he sat perfectly calmly and looked to be about to drink his coffee.
"Jarvis, run facial rec on him, and alert the team that we may have a dangerous meta or alien out there."
"On it sir."
.....
Steve didn't even great Tony before demanding "Tony. What's Jarvis telling us about a new meta?"
"Hello to you too, Steve" Tony deadpanned. "Have a look for yourself." With a flick Tony put the still on a holo-display for the Avengers to see.
Collective gasps as everyone saw a water dome protecting the café goers. "Jarvis can't find a facial rec for the only one in the shop not in terror. But a few articles and police reports from 8 years ago show a kid who has an uncanny resemblance, calling him Percy Jackson. His only living relative lives right here in New York."
Natasha's the first one to speak up, "Lets pay her a visit."
.....
Natasha did not think that Sally Jacksons apartment would be so nice, although with how well her first book did she shouldn't be surprised. "Hello Mrs. Jackson. My name is Natasha."
"Good gods. It really shouldn't scare me that much when people show up in my apartment anymore. How can I help you, Natasha?"
Seriously Mrs. Jackson may be the nicest person Nat had ever met, shame it had to be a façade. "I'm looking for your son, Percy."
Shit. "Are you one of his friends? or should I just call IM him so your business can be finished?" Sally really did not want another monster in the apartment, Paul had a hard enough time dealing with random Demigods.
"I have business with him, if you could tell me where he is." it wasn't as much of a question as she had tried to make it seem. But judging by Sally's mood change at that it didn't matter.
"He is out of town right now. I can give him a place to meet you in a day or two." please be rational was that too much for Sally to ask for.
"I really must see him soon, send him to Avengers Tower, floor delta."
Sally realized why Natasha didn't ring any bells, she wasn't from the Greek world. That doesn't make anything better for Percy, Sally and Paul maybe, but certainly not Percy.
