Right let's start with the normal stuff first: More hugging! Cuz why not
A lil kiss on the cheek (I drew this to celebrate 1 year of getting into this ship God help me)
And a more softer kiss (with emotional constipation because you're not used to affection)

Onto the category of "Them but they're animals"
I don't usually draw animals a lot, but it's actually pretty fun and kinda relaxing for me? Maybe that's why there's so many of these lol. Of course I had to go for my basic cats:
(yes Anji still has his spectacles because I said so)
But then I also had the idea of Anji being a peacock
And then my friend suggested that if they were both birds, Baiken could be an owl!
Fast forward a bit, I wanted to draw them again, and I got the idea of Baiken as a wolf (or big pink fluffy dog?)
"why is this thing so obsessed with me..."
(realistically this would probably be reversed)
aaaaand some cuddles with some nice lighting
If I revisit these again (which I will), I think some more options for Anji could either be a fox, since they're tricksters but also loyal in Japanese folklore, or an Argus Pheasant! (Look them up and you'll see what I mean)
Next up is an AU I did some designs for, which is a mer...man? and pirate au! I really wanna revisit this in May if I can during Mermay, and if I can't, then every month is just Mermay >:D.
This was the first concept I did for Pirate!Baiken, and when I showed it to my friend, who doesn't know ANYTHING about Guilty Gear, they said she "needed more cleavage".
Anyways they were right
These ones were a third pass at her design and getting a bit more into the nitty gritty of it
These were my first pass at Anji's design. I think I like the second one from the left most!
I'm probably going to be giving these another go since they don't have nearly enough belts and I could probably do better/get a bit more creative, but overall, not bad
And last but not least: A first encounter
I'm thinking how they first met in this AU was before Baiken became a pirate captain and was a fisherman (fisherwoman? ah whatever). She pulled him in during the catch one day, let him go after a tense encounter, and he's just been following her around ever since. If you're wondering why he has a human and a mer form: ✨magic✨
