Summary:

Chim is missing for his wedding, what exactly happened during his bachelors party??? Everyone just gets a little *too* drunk. Bobby and Hen (the best man :D) try to supervise the rest of the 118 but end up getting dragged into their chaoticness. Buck and Tommy are in happy relationship and they're smitten for each other. A bet comes light and causes Eddie comes to terms with something about himself and his feelings for a certain someone.

Notes:

Couple of Disclaimers ;)
*Inspired by the 7x06 promo, here's a fic while we wait ;)
**This is a poly of Buck/Eddie/Tommy! Buddie is cute and all but Tommy treats Buck so well and Buck deserves happiness. Multishipping and Polys EXIST!
***Personally I think Eddie is demiromatic but theres no tag for it, just demisexual so i tagged both T-T. I wanted this fic to focus more on Eddie realizing stuff about himself, not much of him being jealous of Buck and Tommy. We love healthy self care :D

This is just a short story, I'm putting it out of 10 but I don't think it would be that long, but we'll see! Comments and kudos appreciated!!

Chapter 1: Buck & Tommy

Chapter Text

“So ummm… we lost your fiancé?” Buck shrugged as he entered the room with Eddie, looking disheveled.
Hen slowly turned around and took a deep breath and yelled, “WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU LOST CHIMNEY??? YOU BOYS HAD ONE JOB.”
“It’s a funny story actually,” Eddie added. He saw the look on Maddie’s face, he never saw her get this mad. “Err, I mean it would be funny in normal circumstances. It’s Buck’s fault.” He quickly added and pointed to him.
“Hey, hey. As I recall, I’m the one who at least tried to get him back.”
“You thought you could chase after a bus! And I’m the one who noticed he was missing. It’s not my fault you were distracted by your boyfriend,” Eddie rolled his eyes.
“Don’t you mean our boyfriend?” Buck smirked.
Eddie flushed red, “Okay look, we haven’t really defined it.”
Buck laughed, “Hah! With what we did last night? I’m sure we did.”
“I’m sorry what?” Hen interrupted their banter, “Okay, you know what, we can talk about this later. What happened after I left the party?? Where the hell is Chim??!”
“He’s not having cold feet, is he?” Now Maddie looked worried, she was spiraling. She started pacing back and forth.
Buck and Eddie both looked at each other.

…The previous night…

“Tommy!” Buck yelled as he ran up to him, once he was face to face with Tommy, he noticed how cute he looked in fancy clothes and he suddenly got flustered. “H-hi.”
He laughed, “You’re too cute, Evan. You ready?” Buck nodded. He reached to take Tommy’s hand but got too nervous and quickly moved away. Tommy noticed and he took his hand. Buck was shocked and turned to meet Tommy’s eyes. Tonight was the night that the 118 were going to know that he and Tommy were dating and he was a bit nervous. It’s not that he was going to announce it to them, but he didn’t want to hide. There was something so soft about the way Tommy looked and his worries drifted away.
They waited until the limo arrived, they were the last ones to be picked up. Tommy noticed the limo coming and he smiled, “Ready, Evan? Our chariot awaits.” Buck nodded and blushed a little.
As the limo arrived and the windows rolled down. “Ayy Buck! Tommy!” cheered Chim as he raised a bottle of alcohol. Bobby, Eddie, Hen, Albert and Ravi were all in the limo.
Tommy laughed, “Who gave the man alcohol before his party started?” Tommy bowed his head and Buck followed in.
“It started as soon as we left Jee with Maddie’s parents,” Chim replied.
“Can’t believe you actually came, Cap,” Buck slid in next to Tommy. Bobby and Eddie were in front of them.
Bobby laughed, “What? Am I too old?”
“W-what? No that’s not what I meant–”
“Relax kid, someone here needs to supervise you guys,” Bobby replied. “Although the best man already has that covered.” He looked over to Hen.
Hen laughed, “Haha me? Look, I owe it to Maddie to make sure this wedding goes off without a hitch. He has to be in one piece for tomorrow.”
Albert jokingly sighed, “Ugh, I can’t believe I lost best man to Hen.”
Ravi laughed, “I can.”
“Hey, we arm-wrestled for it and I won,” Hen smiles so matter-of-factly.
Buck felt Eddie tap on his knee and he leaned over towards him. Eddie looked giddy, “Soooo, I’m assuming you worked things out with Tommy?”
Buck smiled, “Yeah, I did. Thanks, Eddie. This might make me sound so childish, but I can’t wait to dance with him at the wedding and introduce him to my sister. I-” he paused for a minute, flushed with embarrassment he rubbed his neck. “I want to be public with him.”
He patted Buck’s knee and laughed, “It’s not childish, Buck. Little things like that, it’s happiness and you deserve that.”
Buck blushed, “You do too, Eddie.”
Even though he was nervous, Buck didn’t want to mess up like he did on their first date. He didn’t want Tommy to feel hidden. Once the limo arrived at the bar, without saying anything, Buck got out first and did a little bow and extended his hand for Tommy.
Tommy covered his mouth, trying to hide a little smile and took his hand. “Why thank you, Evan.”
Eddie laughed and gave Buck two thumbs up and Buck nervously smiled back. Hen and Chim looked at each other a bit confused. Hen elbowed Eddie, “What’s that about?”
“Put the pieces together, Hen,” Eddie smirked as he slid out of the limo.
