   Summary

   In the midst of a brutal fight for her life, Wren is hit by a fatal spell. Instead of being greeted by white light and the feeling of release that usually accompanies death, she finds herself awaking in the same forest clearing where she had supposedly taken her last breath, except she's all alone.

   Thrown twenty years into the past, from one bloody war right into another, the young woman must learn how to survive without her friends by her side in a world so different from her own while also trying desperately not to change its course and find her way back home. Of course, things don't go quite as planned when she has to face the people she knows the terrible fates of and those who she was fighting against before.

   Unlikely allies and even more unlikely foes; Wren finds herself caught in the middle of it all as she attempts to remain resolute in her decisions.
