Chapter Text
Till had been an actor for a long time now and had managed to make quite the name for himself. When acting he was known to be quite aggressive and someone who was super rebellious.
That was only when acting though. He was a quiet person who spent time writing music or drawing those around him. He did still have his moments of hot headedness.
He tried not to let his ego inflate too much. He knew how to be humble. It was why a lot of directors knew his name. He also knew how to admit he wasn't the best in the industry but was willing to give tips and pointers to newcomers.
He was scrolling on his phone a bit mindlessly. He had a few hours before he had to be on set for his latest job. It was just the first day. So it was meeting the rest of the cast and getting the scripts. It is an upcoming film about a world that had been taken over by aliens.
He came across a Twitter post from @The-biggest-Till-Fan
|I bet these new fans have no idea how hard Till works in everything he's in! I saw someone comparing him to that Idol Luka as if there's anything to compare!|
Till rolled his eyes at the comment and kept scrolling; he felt some fans overreact because of the smallest things. They have no self awareness. As far as he heard from his friends Luka doesn't act.
He knew basic information but had no idea what this Luka looked like. He decided to see who he was being compared to. He saw a few of the images of a blonde boy with golden eyes. How on Earth could he compare if he didn't have the looks of a model. Then he came across an image of what he assumed to be Luka's duo partner.
He stared at the image of the two for a bit longer than he'd wish to admit to anyone. There was a man with eyes as dark as the night with red pupils. He had raven hair and was fairly tall. For some reason the person next to Luka looked familiar.
He couldn't place his finger on it. He zoomed into the image of Luka's partner. For some reason those black eyes and the little fang were too familiar. The smile didn't seem to reach his eyes and seemed to spark some sort of memories.
He started thinking hard about it, almost glaring at the image. He started recalling memories of a little boy who'd follow him around wherever he went as a kid. They had gotten in a fight and if he remembered correctly, stole his pencil once.
It hit him at that moment it was Ivan and Luka from the place he grew up. He was surprised but also happy to see some more familiar faces gaining fame. If he recalled correctly Ivan was also related to Sua.
After all he had to keep his early years close to his heart. He was known as the elder brother in that daycare. He remembers those were the days he was pining for a younger girl of the name of Mizi.
As time went on they started moving one by one and lost contact along the way. Sometimes it would've made Till feel lonely if he wasn't taking roles here and there along the way. He was glad Ivan seemed to be doing ok.
Of his little group that he encountered at that daycare he was the oldest. He knew Sua was an actor just like him. They worked on a couple of projects together and kept in touch on a semi-regular basis. Mizi was an idol from the same agency as Ivan.
He worked with her once and got her contact info. Like Sua they spoke on a kinda regular basis. He would be lying if he said he wasn't heartbroken at first to find she and Sua ended up together.
He came to terms with it and would give them his full support. As he was pondering memories of the past he got a message from his manager asking if he could come in a little earlier than scheduled.
There goes his small peace before the takes. He agreed, figuring it was something important for his manager to send this request. After all, it almost never happened since he started working with them.
The silver haired male got ready and headed out the door. He was not ready for what was awaiting him at the studio. He started yelling for someone he's worked with a lot to let go of him.
“Hey I never thought I'd see you so soon after the last film Till!” Hyuna said with a wide grin her arm still wrapped tightly against his shoulders.
“I told you to stop greeting me like this! Last time you nearly knocked us over! Have some respect.” He shouted trying to push her off. Which only made her grip tighter.
“Come on now I already talked to your manager and found out we're both here for Alien Stage. Lighten up a bit, we both know you hate being treated like glass.” Hyuna said with that grin still plastered to her face.
Till gave a sigh and noticed his manager rushing over to the two. Apparently the director and writer wanted to see him as soon as he got there. Which made him a bit nervous.
He was quickly let go by Hyuna and made his way to the meeting room. When he got there he saw Sua there as well. Which made his nervousness grow. He didn't do anything to his memory that was bad.
“You're both here great! We have a huge favor to ask of you both.” The director stated. The both looked a bit hesitant as they waited for them to continue. “Can we ask you both to help us look out for the idols we'll have on set during filming? All three of them have little acting experience.”
Till blinked surprised at what came out of the head writer's mouth. “I always try looking out for my juniors. You don't have to ask me.” He stated matter of factly.
Sua had regained her calm expression after a moment of surprise. “With Till here I don't think I'll be much help to them but will try my best.” She said with a small shrug.
The director and writer looked relieved. “That's all we need from Sua. Till can you stay behind for a moment more?” The director asked. Sua just bid her farewell and left.
Till waited for them to start speaking again. “We wanted to know if you'd be fine with a change in the character you're playing? We think you'll suit a character that you didn't audition for better. We also wanted to know if you'd write the lyrics for two of the songs?” The director asks in a meek way.
Till thought for a moment a change in character wouldn't be a big deal since he hadn't memorized lines yet. “What are the themes for the songs and I'll see what I can manage.” He answered.
After that he was given a run down for the song themes and how they wanted them to flow. One was a song for his character to grab attention. The other was for two characters in round 6. He started getting ideas based on what he was given. It shouldn't be too bad.
The small meeting ran a little longer than anticipated because Till made sure to get opinions on song names and more about the characters that sang them.
When they glanced at the time it was time for the introductions. A little late Till must admit. He walked with the director to go greet everyone else. He as of now only knew he'd be working with Sua and Hyuna.
Ivan had walked to the set feeling excited. He saw a group of people gathered. He noticed Sua and Mizi. He walked over and gave a quick greeting. He listened to their words.
“Sua, is it true that I'll get to work with Till again?!?!” Mizi asked excitedly. Her long pink hair bounced slightly with her swaying. Ivan looked surprised when he heard the name. He was a big fan of Till after all.
Luka seemed to have also perked up at the name. “Hyuna, is that true?” He asked, looking around. Ivan scanned the room as well. He saw Hyuna nod. He only knew her due to being Luka's idol partner.
Primarily due to his attention at the daycare being mostly on Till. He wouldn't have remembered Mizi was with them if his sister wasn't dating the other.
“Absolutely. So we're in good hands. It seems we have quite a few of his fans here. I know my best friend better than anyone after all. He'll be excited.” Hyuna snickered at the end. She seems to be mocking at the end.
“You know he doesn't like making a big deal about his fame. Though I can't say I can deny the best friend claim as you both are close.” Sua interjected. She always remembers juniors' faces when they are told they'll be working together with her or Till. She didn't get as much of a reaction as him.
Ivan kept looking around but was slowly getting disappointed if they were working together he should be here by now. Did something happen to Till? Did they have to recast his part or something?
Just as Ivan thought that Till walked in with the director. “Sorry for being late everyone. I had to speak with your senior for a bit about some stuff with production.” The director said with a small bow.
Time seemed to have stopped for the three idols of the group. They all seemed excited to see Till. Ivan gave a wide grin which turned concerned when he saw the bags under Till's eyes. Luka just stared while Mizi's eyes lit up.
Till seemed surprised to see everyone in the main cast were people he knew. “It's been awhile you three. If you have any questions or need any advice for a scene let me know.” He greeted.
Till was a bit surprised to have to look up at Ivan now. They used to be the same height. He noticed the three of them staring at him for a bit. He felt a bit self conscious.
He looked away from the three immediately. His face was slightly red. Mizi gave a big smile. “I'm glad we get to work together again Till!” She said happily. Which certainly didn't help his flustered state.
Hyuna gave a laugh smacking Till's back. “You always have fans in every cast we work on. It seems like a reunion of old friends! We should go out to celebrate this reunion!” She exclaimed.
Till gave her a look. “I'll pass. I'm going home after this. I have a few things to work on tonight.” His response was so fast it made the three idols look sad. Sua on the other hand said she'd be passing too. Which made Mizi even sadder.
“Oh come on can't you both see our idol friends are excited for it? Don't be buzz-killers!” Hyuna pressed The two. She wrapped her arms around both of them. Which made them relent.
Till clicked his tongue and shook his head. “You always guilt trip me like this.” He muttered, crossing his arms. He got a tongue stuck out at him as a taunt as a response.
“Not my fault you always fall for it” She cheered. Till noticed the director waiting to speak. After they all settled down, the group was briefed on their characters and given their scripts. They were also informed that there would occasionally be children on set sometimes for their character's younger selves.
Till was surprised that Ivan volunteered to watch after the children during breaks. He didn't take Ivan as someone who’d be fond of kids. Which meant Luka got roped into watching them too, which made Hyuna snicker again.
After the meeting they all went out for some food and drinks like they agreed. Till and Ivan exchanged numbers to keep in contact like he did with the others. Luka seemed jealous for some reason so they exchanged contacts as well.
Till watched everyone seeming to be having fun. He brought out a notebook he kept with him and started doodling everyone. The idle chatter reminded him of their childhood. He sat between Ivan and Hyuna.
He was rather tired and would just join in when someone asked him a question. He noticed Ivan looking over his shoulder. They say old habits die hard, Till thought. He focused on his drawing like he did in the past.
Just as Till finished his sketch Hyuna grabbed the notebook. “What did you draw this time?” She asked playing keep away from Till. He cursed the fact she was slightly taller than him. “Hey! I've told you before not to steal that!” He shouted trying to grab the notebook.
Just as he tried reaching for it he noticed Ivan stand up and grab the notebook. He looked Slightly defeated. There's a chance of getting it back from Hyuna but with how tall Ivan was there was no chance.
He was shocked when Ivan just handed it back to him with a smile. Hyuna pouted. “Ivan you're no fun! I wanted to admire the drawing he did of all of us.” She said with a frown.
“Thanks.” Till said which got a nod in response. Ivan sat back down in his seat seeming super overjoyed. He started talking with his sister about a family dinner.
Till was just there a little in shock. He started wondering when the hell Ivan grew so tall. He would check out his and Luka's music later. He decided it was late enough and excused himself first from the group. He had to work on the songs he was asked to. He also wanted to learn some of the script while he could.
After he made it home he brought out his guitar and got to work. He also checked out Ivan and Luka's music. He was listening to some of their solo songs and was impressed. Their voices matured nicely. Before he knew it he had fallen asleep listening to one of Ivan's solo songs.
Till was a bit surprised when he woke up and heard Ivan's deep voice. He forgot he fell asleep with his headphones on. He removed them and went to get ready for the day. His schedule was full with an interview and filming round one of Alien Stage.
It bewildered how quickly he fell asleep listening to Ivan's voice last night. His mind typically never stops due to the amount of work he piles on himself. If he could fall asleep that easily every night he may just make a Playlist of Ivan's songs.
