Summary
Cregan Stark's wife died while giving birth to his son, who did not survive. His lords keep pushing him to get married to his cousin so Cregan decides to travel to Kings Landing to celebrate King Baelon's twenty-eight years in the throne. While trying to come up with a way to reject his lords' ideas, he meets Princess Saerys Targaryen. Cregan might not know as much as the rest of his lords, but he knows that he won't be leaving Kings Landing without her.
Princess Saerys grew up knowing she was important and people wanted her attention for all the wrong reasons. Saerys prefers her dragon and books to people, especially men, but Cregan Stark manages to catch her attention. There is something wild about the Northern lord, something that calls to her.
