Summary
Hours later, Rei returns to his cabin, exhausted but holding a phial of Dante’s precious essence-filled fluid. He lights a lantern and, without turning around, addresses the person lounging on his bed.
“Go away, old fox. I spent the last four hours retrieving one of my phials, and I have neither the energy nor the patience for you.”
A low chuckle comes from the other side of the room. “Do tell, Master Rei.”
