Summary
Two years after the battle of the timelines, Syzoth has reached a crossroads: Continue serving the Empress or finally embrace his identity as a Zaterran and lead his people. He had rooted out the corrupt government factions and earned favor with the people of Zaterra, but there were still many that would oppose a peaceful co-existence with shifters and warmbloods. However, Syzoth never saw himself being a lifelong servant to Mileena, and had dreams of his own he one day wished to pursue.
Either choice could end in civil war, but perhaps there is hope yet when an unusual opportunity presents itself...Meanwhile, Tomas is hard at work carving out his own place within his new clan.
