Henry had never been sure what it was, but he had always been captivated by Alex’s smile.
Maybe it was the fact that it was bright and seemed to light up the whole room. Or perhaps it was the simple truth that when he smiled, it meant that Alex was happy.
But Henry’s favorite smile of all was the one he wore when he dropped down on one knee. “Will you marry me?”
“Of course.”
The smile he gave him was the brightest Henry had ever seen. He vowed then and there to make Alex smile like that every day for the rest of their lives.
